Life Cycle Tower: The meeting venue for the first day is in the Life Cycle Tower in Dornbirn. The Regional Development has its offices in this building. The Life Cycle Tower was a demonstration building in the Interreg Central Europe funded project CEC5. PlurAlps Project: This project aims to develop a welcoming culture, and improve knowledge and awareness regarding the integration of all types of migrants in Alpine areas. Ich als Kind: The title of the project translates into English as “I as a child”. This is a model project of the Region Bregenzerwald that aims to ensure that all children in the

Miteinander – Füreinander; The title of the project translates into English as “Together - For each other”. The project is an innovative multigenerational housing with inclusion aspects. The project is funded with regional public funds. More information in German is available on: http://mitfuer.at/ werkraum Bregenzerwald: The Werkraum Bregenzerwald is an association of more than eighty master-craftsman businesses, whose new building points the way forward for the culture of craft techniques. With the support of EU LEADER funds the association has built a modern and internationally renowned exhibition room which was planned by the Swiss architect Peter Zumthor. Neue Mittelschule Doren: This school is a secondary school that is exemplary for Austria. It combines modern and highly energy efficient architecture with modern teaching concepts and cross-municipal cooperation of small municipalities. DuALPlus Project: This project aims to develop innovations in dual education in order to increase the attractiveness of dual education for skilled crafts and trades in the Alpine Space. Practical information

Venue and travel information The meeting takes place in the 3rd floor of the Life Cycle Tower One (LCT ONE, Färbergasse 17b, 6850 Dornbirn, Austria). The LCT ONE is located 8 minutes walking distance from the main train station in Dornbirn. It is building L of “Rhomberg’s Fabrik” (you will see the signs and the letter L at our building). If you come by car you have to leave the motorway A14 at the exit “Dornbirn Nord”. You can park your car outside the building for free for 3 hours. Next to our building there is a car parking tower (0,30 €/30 min.) With 45 km distance the airport in Friedrichshafen is the closest.

How to reach the LCT by foot from Dornbirn train station

At the train station go through the underpass (not direction city centre but opposite), take the footpath to the right, follow this road to the roundabout, at the roundabout take the 2nd exit, follow Färbergasse and take the first road on your left, then turn right again. You will see a large car parking tower and left is the Life Cycle Tower. The office of the Regional Development Vorarlberg is on the third floor. Walking time 10 min.
