    Corporates Gaming / U.S.A. 2014 Outlook: U.S. Gaming Deleveraging Potential Outlook Report High Leverage Is So 2013: After a busy 2013, with a first-ever gaming/REIT spin-off and three Rating Outlook major debt-funded M&A transactions, gaming companies are positioned with solid FCF profiles, STABLE limited development prospects and stringent credit agreement provisions. Fitch Ratings believes this is a formula for meaningful deleveraging across the industry. Notable exceptions (2013: STABLE) could be the U.S.-based Macau operators, which will be ramping up developments on Cotai and currently maintain low leverage levels in Macau. A handful of lightly leveraged companies may also look to increase shareholder-friendly activity. Finally, a Gaming REIT: Fitch believes the entrance of REITs into the gaming sector will potentially drive up trading EV/EBITDA multiples, provide new sources of capital (e.g. sale and leaseback), create better transparency on the value of physical casino assets and the gaming licenses (retained by the operator) and possibly increase tolerance for higher leverage. Tepid Domestic Growth Prospects: 2014 casino openings in Ohio, Baltimore and possibly Lake Charles, LA will grow but also cannibalize their respective markets. Same-store growth will continue to be soft, although we project regional markets to fare better relative to 2013 as the effects from the sequester and the payroll tax holiday rollback will anniversary. Operators with exposure to the Las Vegas Strip and Macau will continue to benefit. We project 3% gaming revenue growth for the Las Vegas Strip (5% RevPAR growth) and 12% for Macau.     Quantification of Luck and Skill in Texas Hold’em Frederic Paik Schoenberg 1. Introduction. Las Vegas, Nevada, July 11, 2015. It is day 4 of the 2015 World Series of Poker Main Event. The tournament began with 6,420 players paying $10,000 apiece to enter the tournament. Now only about 400 remain. Some are legendary poker professionals, while others are amateurs taking a shot at poker glory. The tension and drama increase each hand, as millions of dollars and the title of World Champion hang in the balance with each card dealt and each poker decision made. Winning the tournament will clearly require not only great skill but also a huge amount of luck as well. The determination of whether poker is primarily a game of luck or skill has been the subject of intense legal debate. For instance, in 2007 an English court ruled that poker is primarily a game of luck in finding the owner of the Gutshot Club in central London guilty of violating the Gaming Act, which requires a license to host games of chance but not games of skill (Cacciotollo 2007). On the other hand, in 2009 the organizer of a poker club in Colorado was found not guilty of illegal gambling on games of chance in a trial where the jury agreed with a statistician's testimony contending that poker is a game of skill (Hannum and Cabot 2009). As laws differ around the world regarding the legality of gambling on games of skill or games of luck, a clear definition of whether poker is a game primarily of skill or luck might have broad legal implications.

(Nasdaq: TSG)(TSX: TSGI) and FOX Sports, a unit of Fox Corporation (Nasdaq: FOXA, FOX), today announced plans to launch FOX Bet, the first-of-its kind national media and sports wagering partnership in the United States. The Stars Group and FOX Sports have entered a long-term commercial agreement through which FOX Sports will provide The Stars Group with an exclusive license to use certain FOX Sports trademarks. The Stars Group and FOX Sports expect to launch two products in the Fall of 2019 under the FOX Bet umbrella. One will be a nationwide free-to-play game, awarding cash prizes to players who correctly predict the outcome of sports games.
