Restricting the maximum depth of mining up ro 32m (30m of rough stone & 2 m of gravel) considering the environmental impacts due to the mining, safety of the working personnel and following the - v.h MEMBER \ATARY MEMBER SEIAA.TN Page2 of2l principle of the sustainable mining and the same was accePted bY the proponent. ConsequentlY, the maximum minable quantities of 122435 cu.m of Rough stone &' 17,840 cu.m of Gravel are Permitted for mining over five Years. In view of the above, the AuthoritY unanimously accepts the recommendation of SEAC and decided to grant Environmental Clearance subject to the conditions as recommended by SEAC & normal condition in addition to the following condition' I As per the recommendation of SEAC and as accePted bY the ProPonent, the ultimate dePth of mining is restricted to 32m (30m of rough stone & 2 m of gravel) considering the environmental impacts due to the mining, safetY of the working personnel and following the principle of the sustainable mining and the same was accePted bY the proponent. ConsequentlY the maximum minable quantities of 122435 cu.m of Rough stone &' 17,840 cu.m of Gravel are Permitted for mining over five Years. 2. Permitted Ultimate depth of mining is lm BGL and the total quantity of mineral to be mined - Brick earth - 2087m3. 3. On verifying the approved mining plan, it was noticed that the permitted ultimate depth of mining is 1m BGL and the total quantity of mineral to be mined - Brick earth - 2870m3 whereas in thb SEAC minutes, the total quantity of Brick earth to be mined out is typed as 2087m3 inadvertently, instead of 2870 m3. In view of the above, the Authority unanimously accepts the recommendation of SEAC and decided to grant Environmental Clearance subject to the conditions as recommended by SEAC & normal condition in addition to the following condition. 1. Permitted Ultimate depth of mining is lm BGL and the total quantity of mineral to be mined - Brick earth - 2870m3. 2. As per the MoEF&CC office memorandum F.No.22-6512017- IA.III dated: 30.09.2020 and 20.10.2020 the proponent shall furnish the detailed EMP, mentioning all the CER activities as committed. The project proponent shall furnish a detailed action plan for the points raised during the public hearing. 3. On verifying the application and the documents furnished by the Proponent, it was noticed that the project falls under 82 category (and cluster area less than 5 Ha) and hence no public hearing was conducted. 4. Restricting the ultimate maximum depth of mining from up to 2lm above ground level & lOm below ground level considering the environmental impacts due to the mining, safety of the working personnel and following the principle of the sustainable mining and the same was accepted by the proponent. Consequently, the maximum minable quantities of 95,890 cu.m of Rough stone & 5052 cu.m of topsoil are permitted for mining over five years. 3. On verifying the approved mining plan, it was noticed that the maximum minable quantity for the restricted ultimate depth of 3lm (21 AGL+10 BGL) mining is 110455 cu.m of Rough stone & 5052cu.m of Gravel leaving the last bench of 10m height as recommended by SEAC. 4. Whereas in the minutes of 210th SEAC Meeting held on 16.04.2021, the maximum minable quantities of Rough stone is inadvertently typed as of 95890 cu.m instead of 110455 cu.m of Rough stone.

Public Disclosure Authorized This textual part along with the Procurement Plan tables in STEP constitute the Procurement Plan for the Project. The following conditions apply to all procurement activities in the Procurement Plan. The other elements of the Procurement Plan as required under paragraph 4.4 of the Procurement Regulations are set forth in STEP. The Bank’s Standard Procurement Documents: shall be used for all contracts subject to international competitive procurement and those contracts as specified in the Procurement Plan tables in STEP. National Procurement Arrangements: In accordance with paragraph 5.3 of the Public Disclosure Authorized Procurement Regulations, when approaching the national market (as specified in the Procurement Plan tables in STEP), the country’s own procurement procedures may be used.
