Since its creation, the Fondation du CSSS de la Montagne has been dedicated to decreasing poverty, isolation and despair. It intervenes to prevent child abuse and neglect and offers support and respite for families. The Fondation engages in many activities: organizing leisure activities for children with learning difficulties, supporting area organizations, covering the cost for summer camp for children from low-income families, or contributing to a street festival for multiple families. The Fondation is often the last resort for the CSSS, who generally comes to us after knocking on many doors. This spirit of sharing and the professionalism of our staff are what guide the Fondation in granting funds.
