2017-18 MEN’S BASKETBALL SCHEDULE/RESULTS Richmond SPIDERS (2-9) at Boston College EAGLES (9-3) SPIDERS STARTERS NOVEMBER ∆ • Sophomore De'Monte Buckingham led the Spiders in points (22), rebounds (eight), assists (five), steals (two), Nov. 10 DELAWARE (NBCSW+) L, 76-63 and blocks (two) against Bucknell on December 19. He joined T.J. Cline (March 19, 2017 vs Oakland) as the Nov. 13 JACKSONVILLE ST (NBCSW) L, 94-61 only Spiders to reach all of those totals in a game over the last 20 years. Nov. 20 vs UAB^ W, 63-50 • UR is 16-24 vs major-conference opponents since the start of the 2009-10 season, the third-most wins of any Nov. 21 vs #12 Cincinnati^ L, 75-48 current A-10 school during that span (Dayton - 31, VCU - 19). Additionally, Richmond has won at least one Nov. 22 LA-Lafayette^ L, 82-76 game against a major-conference opponent in 11 of Chris Mooney's 12 full seasons at the school. Nov. 25 GEORGETOWN (STADIUM) L, 82-76 • This will be the Spiders third game against a major conference opponent in 2017-18, following losses to NOV. 29 VERMONT (NBCSW+) L, 71-65 Georgetown and Wake Forest earlier this season. According to RPI, the Spiders have played the nation's 37th- DECEMBER toughest schedule so far this year. Dec. 2 at Wake Forest (NBCSW+) L, 82-53 • The Spiders are 2-0 all-time vs Boston College, including a 67-54 win last season in Brooklyn, N.Y.
