Canadian Open Picks 2013 Canadian Open Picks 2013 The Canadian Open picks are based on recent performance and historical performance at the event. Picks can be verified by checking out the statistics page on the web site. Others to consider are based on other various factors, stats, trends, etc. Brandt Snedeker – Snedeker finished 11th last week at The Open Championship. Snedeker finished 34th last year at this event and 5th in 2009. Chris Kirk – Kirk is on a trend and finished 4th at this event last year, his first time playing it. Matt Kuchar – Kuchar is on a slight trend, he finished 15th last week and had a 4th place finish at the Canadian Open in 2010. Ernie Els – Els is another player on a trend, he placed 26th last week and 17th in 2011 at this tourney, he missed the cut last year coming off his Open Championship victory. Hunter Mahan – Mahan finished 9th at the Open Championship last week and hasn’t missed the cut at the Canadian Open in the last 3 years.
