Due to the resounding success of last year’s event, The Sanderson Farms Championship will return to The Country Club of Jackson, a beautiful facility situated on approximately 500 acres centrally located in Jackson. This year’s tournament is scheduled for November 2-8, 2015. This marks the 48th consecutive year for Mississippi to host a PGA TOUR event. The tournament has been part of the PGA TOUR schedule since 1968. Originally played at the Hattiesburg Country Club, the event moved in 1994 to Annandale, which hosted through 2013. The Sanderson Farms Championship has grown to be the largest professional golfing event in the state, bringing a significant economic impact to the Metro Jackson area. The 2015 Sanderson Farms Championship, with a purse of $4.1 million, will be one of the early 2015-2016 season PGA TOUR events and we expect a stellar field of participants. We are again part of the FedExCup Points race, and will benefit from four days of live global coverage from The Golf Channel. Century Club Charities is a non-profit organization founded in 1994 to promote the game of golf for the benefit of Mississippi charities. We serve as the host organization for Mississippi’s PGA TOUR event, and have helped to raise more than $9 million for Friends of Children’s Hospital, our primary beneficiary and other area charities. Our partnership with Sanderson Farms for the 2014 Sanderson Farms Championship resulted in Century Club’s largest charitable contribution ever, a $1.1 million donation to Friends of Children’s Hospital. We are tremendously grateful to our sponsors and the hundreds of volunteers who give of their time, energy, and resources to make this tournament the best ever. We thank you, our media partners, for your support in highlighting all the amazing things that the Sanderson Farms Championship does for our great state. Thank you for your support! Peter G.
