The imposing Mediaeval entrance Tower remains today and forms part of The Great Hall. The Great Hall and all the other houses on the estate was bought by The Curre’s in 1710 and remained in the family until the last Lady Curre died in 1956. The renown architect Sir Guy Dawber re-designed the property in late C19.
