The analysis is mainly concerned with finding a suitable solution to the more problematic parts of the translation such as proper nouns, cultural references, use of languages and colloquial language. The thesis also contains commentary explaining individual decisions. Les coureurs s’élançaient de Roeselare pour arriver à Waregem après un parcours long de 180,2 kilomètres. Ce dernier ne subissait que peu de changements et comportera onze monts et quatre secteurs pavés. L’enchaînement des monts restait à peu près identique à trois exceptions Le résultat de l’équipe près : l’ajout du Nouveau Quaremont comme première ascension, un passage en moins sur le duo Mont-de-l’Enclus/Côte de Trieu en début de course et le Kruisberg était remplacé par une nouveauté, Berg Ten Houte, complètement refaite avec des pavés et une rampe à 21%. ème Turgis 2 A. Un groupe de huit coureurs formait l’échappée du jour. Leur avance montait à plus de deux minutes avant la neutralisation de la course afin de laisser passer une ambulance sur la course des filles. Après le redémarrage de la course, des coureurs se détachaient du 13ème peloton pour revenir sur les échappés. Il étaient cinq en tête avec une petite cinquantaine de secondes d’avances : Mathieu Van der Poel A. Petit (Corendon-Circus),Anthony Turgis (Direct Energie), Bob Jungels (Deceuninck - Quick Step).
