George Ezra, Dal Vivo in Italia Per Tre Concerti MERCOLEDì 28 MAGGIO 2014 Il pubblico italiano l'ha dapprima conosciuto con Budapest, il brano che da oltre quattro mesì è diventato il tormentone radiofonico, poi l'ha apprezzato nell'unica data italiana (in versione acustica) lo scorso marzo George Ezra, dal vivo in Italia per a Milano, ed ora è finalmente pronto ad assistere ai suoi tre concerti da tre Concerti protagonista previsti per il prossimo 19 novembre all'Alcatraz di Milano, 21 novembre all'Orion di Roma e 22 novembre al Viper di Firenze, dove A Novembre a Milano, Roma e Firenze George Ezra canterà i brani del suo primo, attesissimo album Wanted On Voyage, in uscita il 1 luglio per Columbia Records, in digitale, CD deluxe edition e vinile. LA REDAZIONE George Ezra, cantautore ventenne di Hertford, dalla profonda voce blues, si è affermato come uno dei nuovi artisti più caldi della scena pop e non sa spiegarsi nemmeno lui come sia successo. "Continuano a dirmi che questo è il mio anno", dice George. "Fa senz'altro piacere, ma mi crea qualche problema, perché voglio far parte della scena musicale anche nel 2015 e per molti anni ancora". [email protected] SPETTACOLINEWS.IT Budapest, inserito come seconda traccia nel disco, in Italia ha venduto finora, esclusivamente in digitale, oltre 30mila copie, aggiudicandosi il suo primo Platino Award. Il brano ha raggiunto il primo posto nella classifica di iTunes rimanendo stabile in vetta per molte settimane, ha scalato in breve tempo anche le nostre classifiche radio, dove è ancora saldo ai primi posti da ben quattro mesi. Grazie al clamoroso successo avuto nel nostro paese, Budapest sta iniziando ora a scalare le classifiche inglesi ed europee. In meno di sei mesi questa canzone è stata riprodotta in streaming oltre 10 milioni di volte su Spotify e cinque milioni di volte su YouTube. I suoi primi due EP, Did You Hear The Rain? e Cassy O', hanno raggiunto la top 10 di iTunes nel Regno Unito e il giovane artista ha già messo a segno una serie di date sold out, tra cui un tour di debutto di ben 22 date in territorio britannico. In Italia abbiamo potuto applaudirlo a Milano, a marzo, in un concerto andato in breve tempo completamente esaurito. Non sorprende, dunque, che Ezra sia entrato nella top 5 del Sound of 2014 della BBC, oltre che nel novero di artisti da tener d'occhio secondo Vevo, iTunes ed MTV. Wanted On Voyage è stato inciso tra l'inizio di novembre e metà gennaio a Clapham, zona sud di Londra, insieme al produttore Cam Blackwood.
