Most organizations face challenges in transferring cash to field locations due to lack of established financial institutions.

Organizations are forced to contract financial institutions and/or cash transfer agents to access cash in field locations.

These cash transfer agents transport the cash for the organizations from to the various field locations.

The proposed Biometric Solution can be able to support both conditional and unconditional cash payments.

1. UNCONDITIONAL CASH PAYMENT This is where the beneficiaries receive unconditional assistance. Once the beneficiaries are registered, the organization shall specify the amounts to be paid per beneficiary which is loaded to the system. The beneficiaries are then paid after biometric identification

2. CONDITIONAL CASH PAYMENT This is where the beneficiaries are expected to participate in community work before they can qualify for the payments. The system is designed to capture attendance biometrically through finger print verification Once the beneficiaries have been allocated specific public works in specific location, they shall be required to ‘clock in’

3. NON-CASH TRANSFERS In addition to the cash transfer payments, the Proposed Biometrics Solution is very effective in terms of non-Cash Transfers. The Biometric Project can effectively support Non-Cash Transfers which ranges from Food Items, Non-Food Items (NFIs) and also Voucher Redemption
