We reach Bread of Hope is partnering with several churches in Venezuela and Colombia. Providing them with resources and building a network to reach the Wayuu people. If you have a special talent or hobby that you would like to share on your

trip, please let us know. We have had doctors/nurses, veterinarians,

hairdressers, musicians, singers, and magicians on previous trips who were

able to use their talents on the mission field.

What We eat Venezuelan is very unique and diverse. Most tourists enjoy sampling the local fare in Maracaibo and other Venezuelan cities. During our mission trips we provided a balanced menu of local Venezuelan and American favorites. If any of your team members has medical dietary restrictions, please let us know so that accommodations can be made.

Where We go Maracaibo For the last 4 years Bread of Hope has developed its ministry in Venezuela Maracaibo, Venezuela.  It is the second largest city in Venezuela.  The city’s population is approximately 1.8 million.  It nickname “La Tierra del Sol Amada” means “The land loved by the sun”.  It is one of the hottest cities in Venezuela with year-round temperatures around 100°F.

How Much When It cost Summer 2015 The cost of the trip includes: airfare, lodging, local Week 1: May 30th to June 6th transportation and all meals in Maracaibo. Week 2: June 6th to June 13th It does NOT include: (Possible one night layover in Aruba, Any airport baggage fees, meals in the airport, phone Hotel accommodations included) calls home, and souvenirs. The cost is between 1600 and 1800 USD depending on the airfare and how your team is scheduled to fly. Once tickets have been purchased all deposit is non-refundable.
