 Able to work in conjunction with directors, technical directors, video engineers, clients, managers and administrators for various events.  Competent in determining lighting equipment needs.  Knowledge of structural capabilities for lighting.  Can calculate electrical power requirements for lighting.  Able to determine work force needs.  Qualified to coordinate the installation of all necessary lighting equipment.  Skilled at directing labor for set up and removal of lighting equipment.  Able to coordinate equipment movement between venues  Effective communicator between departments  Performed budget calculations for events.  Experienced in purchase planning for events.  Have created capital spending budget for new equipment.  Ability to program and adjust light levels prior to and during events  Proficient in the use of lighting desks like ETC’s Express, and Element.  Experienced mentor and trainer of student staff.  Adept at lighting equipment maintenance and trouble shooting.  Versed in the use of sophisticated equipment such as wave form monitors, vector scopes and light meters, color meters and multi meters.
