The purpose of this sheet is to help you determine which course requirements are completed, and which ones are needed.

Please refer to your Transfer Credit report to complete the program planning sheet.

To complete the program planning sheet, you will be looking for Requirement Designations and Equivalent Courses on your Transfer Credit Report. Each section of the program planning sheet will list which part you will use.

Course designations are assigned to some courses; Baruch College honors Requirement Designations from other institutions. The course does not need to be the same as what Baruch has listed.

Equivalent Courses are courses taken at other colleges, and they are transferred to Baruch College. The name of the course at Baruch College is the Equivalent Course. The course must be the same on the Program Planning Sheet and Transfer Credit Report.

When completing the Program Planning Sheet, bubble in the appropriate circle:

W = Waived C = Completed P = Postpone N = Need

Waived: You are not required to take the course. Please review program planning sheet for courses that may be waived.

Completed: You have completed the course and have received a grade.

Postpone: If a course is listed as “CIP” (course in progress) on your transfer credit report, mark the course as “P” on the program planning sheet. This means you do not need to take the class, as you are completing it at your previous institution.

*Please note: If a course is listed as “CIP” on your transfer credit report, and the course is a pre-requisite for another course, you cannot take the course until the CIP is updated to a grade.

Need: You have not taken or completed the course, and it required.
