Pokemon FireRed and LeafGreen Post-Game Completionist Checklist List of Post-Game Objectives to complete in Pokemon FireRed and LeafGreen Versions for the GameBoy Advance. There is not a "bonus" for completing all of these objectives beyond the Diploma for completing the Pokedex. This list is designed to help the player experience the most possible out of the games. Pokedex Entries - Minimum Requirements are Emerald Version, LeafGreen Version, Colosseum, and XD: Gale of Darkness (includes Ho-Oh and Lugia) OR all five Generation III GBA Games: Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald, FireRed, and LeafGreeon Versions (does not include Ho-Oh and Lugia) Receive the National Pokedex from Professor Oak in his lab in Pallet Town after completing the following tasks: Enter the Hall of Fame after defeating the Elite Four and the Champion Register 60 or more Pokemon as captured in the Kanto Pokedex Rescue Lostelle from a wild Hypno the Berry Forest on Three Island after first talking to her father at the Joyful Game Corner on Two Island. This task is complete when Lostelle gives the player an Iapapa Berry. See all 150 Pokemon in the Kanto Pokedex (not including Mew) Capture all In-Game Legendary Pokemon Articuno - Static Encounter at Seafoam Islands B4F Zapdos - Static Encounter at Power Plant Moltres - Static Encounter on the Mt. Ember Peak Mewtwo - Static Encounter in Cerulean Cave B1F, only accessible after entering the Hall of Fame and completing the gemstone sidequest on the Sevii Islands Raikou - Roams Kanto after clearing Team Rocket from the Sevii Islands if Squirtle was chosen as the starter - GLITCH WARNING: If Raikou uses Roar after the player uses a trapping move like Block, the Pokemon may never spawn again. It is recommended to save your Master Ball to use on this Pokemon. Entei - Roams Kanto after clearing Team Rocket from the Sevii Islands if Bulbasaur was chosen as the starter - GLITCH WARNING: If Entei uses Roar after the player uses a trapping move like Block, the Pokemon may never spawn again. It is recommended to save your Master Ball to use on this Pokemon. Suicune - Roams Kanto after clearing Team Rocket from the Sevii Islands if Charmander was chosen as the starter - The Roaming Beast Glitch does not affect Suicune Register all 150 Pokemon as caught in the Kanto Pokedex (not including Mew). See this checklist: bit.ly/FRLGPokedex Receive the Diploma from the Game Freak developer at the Game Freak Headquarters in the Celadon Condominiums after completing the Kanto Pokedex. Unlock the ability to trade with Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald, Colosseum, and XD: Gale of Darkness by removing Team Rocket from the Sevii Islands and completing the Ruby and Sapphire side-quest. Bonus: Obtain Event and otherwise "unobtainable" Pokemon Bonus: Obtain Mew - Not obtainable via standard gameplay. May use a cheating device to complete the Faraway Island event in Emerald or may be added by a cheating device directly. Bonus: Obtain Ho-Oh - Not obtainable via standard gameplay. Transfer from Pokemon Colosseum on the GameCube after completing the Mt. Battle challenge. May also use a cheating device to complete the Naval Rock event or may be added by a cheating device directly. Bonus: Obtain Lugia - Not obtainable via standard gameplay. Transfer from Pokemon XD: Gale of Darkness on the GameCube after purified, related to the main events in the game. May also use a cheating device to complete the Naval Rock event or may be added by a cheating device directly. Bonus: Obtain Celebi - Not obtainable via standard gameplay. Was only distributed during 3rd Generation on the Japanese-only Bonus Disc for Pokemon Colosseum. Only feasible to obtain by using a cheating device in US and PAL Regions. Bonus: Obtain Jirachi - Event Pokemon not obtainable through standard gameplay. May be obtained using a cheating device or from the Pokemon Colosseum Pre-Order Bonus Disc for GameCube (US Only) or Pokemon Channel for GameCube (PAL Region Only) Bonus: Obtain Deoxys - Event Pokemon not obtainable through standard gameplay. May be be obtained using a cheating device to complete the Birth Island event or may be added to a cheating device directly. Joyful Game Corner on Two Island Unlock the ability to play multiplayer games at the Joyful Game Corner by rescuing Lostelle in the Berry Forest and having her return to her father. Jump 200 times consecutively in a single game of Pokemon Jump (requires a link-cable and another player) Collect 200 berries in a single game of Dodrio Berry Picking (requires a link-cable and another player) Obtain 4 Stars on the Trainer Card Enter the Hall of Fame Jump 200 times in Pokemon Jump and collect 200 berries in Dodrio Berry Picking at the Joyful Game Corner on Two Island Complete the Kanto Pokedex (except Mew) Complete the National Pokedex (except Mew, Ho-Oh, Lugia, Celebi, Jirachi, and Deoxys) Trainer Tower on Seven Island Defeat all 8 Floors of the Trainer Tower in Singles Mode (reward: Up-Grade) Defeat all 8 Floors of the Trainer Tower in Double Mode (reward: Dragon Scale) Defeat all 8 Floors of the Trainer Tower in Knockout Mode (reward: Metal Coat) Defeat all 8 Floors of the Trainer Tower in Mixed Mode (reward: King's Rock) Final Battle Challenge Rematch and defeat the Elite Four and Blue's enhanced teams Collectibles and Gifts Obtain all TMs - see this checklist: bit.ly/FireRedLeafGreenTMs Obtain all In-Game Gift Pokemon Hitmonlee/Hitmonchan - Given after defeating the Karate Master in the Saffron City Fighting Dojo. Only one Pokemon given per game file. Lapras - Given by a Silph. Co Employee in the Silph Co. Headquarters 7F after defeating Blue Eevee - Given by a man on the Celadon Mansion rooftop in Celadon City. Enter in the back door. Omanyte/Kabuto - Retrieve the Helix or Dome Fossil from Mt. Moon and have it revived on Cinnabar Island. Only one fossil per game file. Aerodactyl - Retrieve the Old Amber from the Pewter Museum of Science and have it revived on Cinnabar Island. Togepi - Hatch the egg received from an old man while travelling through the Water Labyrinth in the Sevii Islands Complete all In-Game Trades Trade an Abra to a boy on Route 2 outside of Diglett's Cave to receive a Mr. Mime Trade Nidoran to a girl in the north exit of the Underground Tunnel to receive the opposide-gendered Nidoran (Female traded to receive male in LeafGreen | Male traded to receive female in FireRed) Trade Nidorina/Nidorina to a man upstairs in the Route 11 Guardhouse to receive the opposite-gendered Pokemon (Nidorina traded to receive Nidorino in LeafGreen | Nidorino traded to receive Nidorina in FireRed) Trade a Golduck (FireRed) or a Slowbro (LeafGreen) to a trainer on the second floor of the Route 18 Guardhouse to receive a Lickitung Trade a Poliwhirl to an old man in the house next to the Pokemon Center in Cerulean City to receive a Jynx (hods a Fab Mail) Trade a Spearow to a child in a house in Vermilion City to receive a Farfetch'd (holds a Stick) Trade a Ponyta to a man in the Cinnabar Island Laboratory to receive a Seel Trade a Raichu to an old man in the Cinnabar Island Laboratory to receive an Electrode Trade a Venonat to a girl in the Cinnabar Island Laboratory to receive a Tangela (holds a Stardust) Bonus: Obtain all Berries (moderately difficult if obtaining only berries available in FireRed and LeafGreen; extremely difficult if obtaining all Gen III berries) - see this checklist: bit.ly/FRLGBerries Make and Share Free Checklists checkli.com.
