WORK EXPERIENCE

2002 To date- Kenyatta University Health Club

 Instruct aerobics classes-including academic classes

 Assist clients with the use of the gym facilities

 Carry out fitness tests for clients and draw up programmes for them.

 Teach swimming, both academic classes and individualized instruction.

 Coach of the University swimming team.

 In liason with the sports and Games department, organize swimming galas held during culture week. th  In the organizing committee for the 17 biennial ISCPES conference held in Kenya in 2010.

Other Responsibilities:  Technical subcommittee member (swimming co-ordinator) during the 7th East Games held at Kenyatta Univeristy 16th- 21st December 2010.  Technical swimming official during the 7th CANA zone 3 & 4 Swimming Championships held at Kasarani 8th- 10th January 2010.  Technical Delegate in the KUSA games held at Nairobi Univ in December 2009

 Facilitation of swimming gala organized by the Ministry of youth and sports in celebration of Madaraka Day celebration held in 2009 at Kasarani Aquatic Stadium.

 Organisation and facilitation of the aerobics instructors course (2002-2006)

 Facilitaion of fitness testing and evaluation for various national teams and groups(volleyball, cricket, judo, boxing coaches)

 Taught survival swimming at Nairobi university to students undertaking wildlife Management (May 2008).

 2011-Facilitated team building for my local church- (PCEA) and for an NGO that deals with HIV Aids awareness and support (LIVERPOOL VCT)

SPORTING ACHIEVEMENTS  Best Overall Female swimmer in East Africa Univ. Games held In Kenya in 1999.  Best overall female swimmer in East Africa Univ. Games held in in 2003.  Participated in East Africa Univ. Games held in Kenya in 2004. Won one gold, two silvers and two bronze.  Participated in the Mombasa International Triathlon held in 2005 and 2009  Participated in the Nairobi National Triathlon held in 2005 (second).  Participated in the Nairobi Standard Chartered Marathon since its inception. Completing full marathons (2003, 2006,2007,2008, 2010) and two half marathons (2004, 2005)  Participated in the Sotokoto half marathon ( May 2009) held in Nairobi to conserve wildlife.
