Position: Project Manager for Developing Life Skills and Knowledge for Youth Empowerment

Location: , Province (including travelling to of SR and Sangkum Thmey District of Preah Vihear)

Salary & Benefit Package: USD688– USD 860 dependent on professional experience and qualifications

I. THE PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

To provide overall leadership, planning and management to ensure the quality of DLSKYE Project and lead in providing the effective technical supports in term of youth & leadership development, vocational skills, livelihood and entrepreneurship for youth.

II. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

1. To manage the implementation of the project activities, principally by managing and supervising the key project staff.

To monitor implementation of the project to ensure that the project system and staffs are working to achieve the project goals and objectives and that the project is maintaining World Vision and donors accountability standards. Monitoring (financial): Approve project expenditures and contracts up to US$1000. Monitor and review financial report. Ensure effective budget management to meet the standard and policy compliance.

3. Prepare quarterly, annual, and interim/end of reports as required by World Vision, government donors, and other interested bodies. Compile professional and high quality management reports for major donors in a timely manner, meeting donor-reporting requirements.

4. Undertake arrangements for visits from donors, government, National Office management and other partners, including briefing on project information and activities. Provides Khmer/English interpretation during the visits.

5. Lead in providing the effective technical supports in term of youth & leadership development, vocational skills, livelihood, entrepreneurship and apprenticeship for youth.

6. To ensure that model of youth clubs and youth livelihoods and business initiatives of youth are effectively implemented to achieving the project goal and outcomes.

7. Cooperate with Provincial Department of Education, Provincial Department of labor and training, Provincial Department of Agriculture, and private business to implement the project.

III. REQUIREMENTS:

1. Bachelor of Degree of Education, or Business Administrative or Economic Development

2. At least 2 years of professional experiences in Project Management, youth capacity development and youth business development is an advantage.

3. Demonstrated good experiences and skills in project planning, monitoring and reporting

4. English Proficiency and computer skill including Microsoft Office, Lotus Notes (or similar software),

5. Willing to be based at Puok District and travel and working in Kralanh District (Siem Ream) and Sangkum Thmey (Preah Vihear).

6. Fully able to embrace organizational values and possess a high level of commitment towards the mission of WVC.
