    EXECUTIVE REPORT FOR THE YEAR APRIL 2016 TO MARCH 2017 This report covers the activities and achievements of Womens Golf South Africa for the above-mentioned period which was again, an exceedingly full year with several highlights. NATIONAL TOURNAMENTS NOMADS ROSE BOWL 54 HOLE GIRLS CHAMPIONSHIP, PORT ELIZABETH, 21 – 22 MARCH 2016 This was the 7th Rose Bowl Championship run by WGSA and 5th sponsored by Nomads; the event was hosted by Port Elizabeth Golf Club. The weather was indecisive starting out with heavy rain, then sunshine and winds, however play was not delayed. Our top 66 junior girls, 43 of them in the Championship division, enjoyed the challenges the course had to offer with a close finish. The winner was Catherine Lau (GN) (213 – 75, 69, 69), finishing three strokes ahead of Symone Henriques (GAU) (216). This was Catherine’s second Rose Bowl title as she won this prestigious event in 2013. The 10 to 18 handicap division was won by Cleo Jordaan (GN) on 252 (84, 85, 83) with La-eeqah Adams (WP) as runner up on 257. The Stableford Bronze division (19 – 25 handicaps) was won by Kristen Basson (WP) on 67 points. The D division was won by Mikah Poonawassy (NC) on 72 points. 3 Hole live scoring was provided for the duration of the tournament for all divisions in both stroke play and Stableford format.     For immediate release Thursday April 15, 2021 Annika Sörenstam to tee it up at mixed event in Sweden • Annika Sörenstam confirms she will tee it up alongside fellow tournament host Henrik Stenson at innovative mixed tournament in Sweden • 78 men and 78 women will go head-to-head on the same course competing for one prize fund and one trophy • Inaugural Scandinavian Mixed Hosted by Henrik & Annika will take place at Vallda Golf & Country Club in Gothenburg Annika Sörenstam has announced she will tee it up on home soil for the first time in 13 years alongside fellow tournament host Henrik Stenson at the Scandinavian Mixed Hosted by Henrik and Annika at Vallda Golf & Country Club in Gothenburg from June 10-13, 2021. During her 16-year Hall of Fame career, Sörenstam amassed 89 victories worldwide, including ten Major Championships before retiring in 2008 to start a family. The 50-year-old was initially announced as a non- playing host alongside Stenson for the inaugural edition of the event, scheduled to take place at Bro Hof Slott Golf Club in Stockholm in 2020, however it was cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic. After 13 years away from professional golf, Sörenstam made the cut in February this year at her first competitive outing at the Gainbridge LPGA at Lake Nona Golf and Country Club in Florida and will now return to action in Sweden this June following her last appearance on home soil at the 2008 Scandinavian TPC in Stockholm. The eight-time Solheim Cup player’s decision to join the field of 78 men and 78 women brings a new level of excitement to the innovative mixed tournament co-sanctioned by the European Tour and Ladies European Tour.

Let Access Series Jag spelar för Bredareds golfklubb, en klubb i ett litet samhälle strax utanför Borås. Där trivs jag väldigt bra, då 10:a - Ingarö Ladies Open, 7-9/8. Let Access Series/Nordea Tour klubben stöttar mig i min utveckling och som även förstår betydelsen av att ha en riktigt proffsig tränare i Johan Claes- 43:a - Ladies Norweigan Challenge, Norge 12-14/8.
