Applications must be completed in full and with all required documents before handing them in. To avoid disappointment………If you do not fall under the school’s “feeder areas” please make sure you enrol your child in a school closer to where you live or work. Please apply at other schools ,( more than one school). Please Remember if you are applying for GRADE 1 (2019), please do so online at www.gdeadmissions.gov.za. Please keep you registration number that you receive from the online registration, as you would need to bring it with when collecting an application form. All learners are placed on a waiting list and will be placed accordingly. All other grades (2-7) must report to the school closest to where you live or work to collect an application form. Please note that when completing an application form it does not mean the space has been secured for the learner. All applications will be placed on a waiting list and will be contacted once space has been allocated. PLEASE NOTE: The learners must be residing with the biological parents. IF YOUR CHILD IS IN GRADE R AT NOORDWYK PRIMARY, YOU MUST APPLY VIA THE ONLINE SYSTEM AS ENTRY TO GRADE 1 IS NOT AUTOMATIC. New applications for grade R,2,3,4,5,6 and 7 must be done manually at the school- NOT ONLINE. Please collect these forms directly from the office. HOW THE ONLINE PROCESS WORKS? 1. GDE website address: www.gdeadmissions.gov.za 2. Admissions for Grade 1 and 8 for 2019 must be done online for all Public ordinary schools. 3. Admissions for all other grades must be done at school. 4. Once you have applied on-line you will receive notification via SMS, please keep that number safe and when you come to the school to collect an application form you are requested to provide that number to the school. 5. Once you have completed the application form, you are required to return the form to the school within 14 Days, with all documents required attached. 6. When you present certified documents please make sure all certified documents are not older than 3 Months. Noordwyk Primary school is a section 21 public school and may raise school fees in terms of the South African School Act (Act no. 84 of 1996) and the National Educating Policy Act (Act No 27 of 1996)- National Norms of school funding. 2. As a Parent/ Guardian you are liable to pay fees determined in terms of section 39 of the schools act, unless or to the extent that you have been exempted from payment in terms of the said Act. 3. Should a court determine that another person is liable for the fees/contribution, it still remains the responsibility of the parents/ guardian who qualify as parents in terms of the definition “parent” as contained in the S.A Schools Act, to ensure that the fees are paid. 4.
