In 2021, HCL became an Alteryx Elite Alliance Partner and is the only Global Systems Integrator (GSI) at this partnership level. With 40+ certified professionals and counting, HCL collaborates with Alteryx to enable the Global 2000 to succeed in their analytics automation and digital transformation journeys. The collaboration is underpinned by data science-driven process automation and orchestration across distributed hybrid and multi-cloud environments. Success Story: Deploying Self-Service Data Analytics for a Fortune 500 Tool and Hardware Manufacturer

Our client is a US-based company well known for its household hardware products and craftsman tools. The company was facing increasing diculties from its lack of data infrastructure. With no platform-based approach, the company had no single source of truth and struggled with distributed usage and performance issues across multiple data sources. Employees used an archaic, manual process to request data analytics and faced turnaround times of 4-12 weeks to get the data they needed. The lack of data governance and data democratization was hampering The Challenge: business agility, while impacting important operations like A Company in Need of regulatory reports. Data Democratization 4

We worked with the client to develop an enterprise strategy to consolidate tools and position Alteryx as an enterprise-wide platform. HCL identified Alteryx as the right solution for this client. With Alteryx, we could quickly help the client:

• Democratize data science • Develop their own use cases • Move into self-service data analytics The Solution: Making Alteryx the Enterprise-Wide Data Platform

To assist with streamlined and sticky user adoption, our approach included a data science sandbox for 300+ users to experiment and evangelize the Alteryx platform ahead of enterprise-wide deployment. We also partnered with Alteryx SMEs to develop data analytics use cases including ‘What If’ scenarios for on-time shipment and deliveries, margin resilience, and more across business units, to help the client derive faster ROI. The Approach: Infusing The deployment enabled a self-service platform that was Change Management fully governed and scalable, providing trusted and consistent data sources while removing the 4-12 week data and Data Science for analytics request cycle in favor of on-demand data.
