Please note that the number of placements offered are not guaranteed, as the York University reserves the right to re-evaluate the number of placement offered after the interviews.

The practicum course runs from September to Mid-May and the Centre requires that the interns commit to this length of time. Final evaluations will be completed in accordance with Factor Inwentash Faculty of Social Work academic time line. These positions are very competitive internship positions and applicants come from social work, , mental health, adult education programs from across the continent. If you are selected to complete your practicum at York University: Personal Counselling Services for the academic year 2018-2019, and you accept the offer before the Practicum Office opens the PAS for viewing in spring 2018, you will not be included in the Year II practicum matching process.
