Day 1: Arrival in Colombo – Kandy (Lunch , Dinner) Morning arrive in Colombo, your guide will meet and welcome you. Start your trip to Kandy with a stop in the journey at Spice Garden. Sri Lanka spice gardens, during early historical times Sri Lanka Known as Taprobane, was world renowned for its quality spices. During ancient times the Greeks, Romans and the Arabic maintained their links with Sri Lanka through the spice trade. Arrive in Kandy, have a short city sightseeing pass by Upper Lake Drive, Market Square, Arts & Crafts Centre and Gem Museum follow by check in to your lovely hotel for 1 night stay. Freshen up and evening visit Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic -- ever since 4th Century A.D, when the Buddha's Tooth was brought to Sri Lanka hidden from sacrilegious hands in an Orissan princess' hair, the Relic has grown in repute and holiness in Sri Lanka and throughout the Buddhist world. It is considered Sri Lanka's most prized possession. Day 2: Kandy - Nuwara Eliya (Breakfast , Dinner) Kick off the day with a game of golf in the Victoria Golf and Country Resort. The Weather is the ultimate combination of Sun and a soft cool breeze blowing across the most interestingly designed and challenging Golf Courses, ranked among the 100 Most Beautiful Golf Courses in the World. The Golf Course designed in 1997 by Donald Steele & Co., internationally renowned Golf Architects is maintained to U.S.P.G.A. standards. It was voted as the Best golf course in 2005 by the Asian Golf monthly magazine – it has an undulating terrain with narrow fairways that hug the contours of the mountains & greens that are often elevated & compact in size. After golf, proceed to Nuwara Eliya – The “Little England” of Sri Lanka. Nuwara Eliya which means the "city of lights" is also the city of eternal spring, where the air is pure, cool and distilled up through 1,884 meters; windswept peaks lie shrouded in mist. Along the scenic road journey, a stop will be made for visit to a Tea Plantation and Tea Factory and have a taste of Ceylon Tea. Day 3: Nuwara Eliya (Breakfast) This morning enjoy your 2nd round of golf game in Nuwara Eliya Golf Club. The course in Nuwara Eliya Golf Club has some extremely tough and exciting Par 3 holes, significant elevation changes, massive trees that the fairways and make broad landing areas look small in comparison. It has very tight holes where an inaccurate shot with a slight deviation in angle is heavily penalized. It’s designed in a manner that you should never let your guard down and maintain your level of focus. In the afternoon, city sightseeing of Nuwara Eliya includes a visit to the Sita Amman Temple. Day 4: Nuwara Eliya – Colombo (Breakfast, Dinner) After breakfast, proceed to Colombo via the Kitulgala route. Enroute, you will witness many water falls along the way including the famous St Clair’s and Devon falls bestowed with enchanting beauty. Stop by at Kitulgala, the location famous for adventure sports including mountain biking, trekking, bird watching and the most attractive of all white water rafting. Get the chance to try out white water rafting (optional). You final night accommodation will be at Colombo city, the capital of Sri Lanka. Day 5: Colombo (Breakfast) After breakfast, check out and proceed to The Royal Colombo Golf Club. The Royal Colombo Golf Club is a flat course with broad fairways which looks simple to beginners but it can be highly deceiving, there are many water hazards and bunkers. The Golf Club is a jewel in the city of Colombo surrounded by residential areas and business establishments. The beautiful fairway, natural habitats of some rare species of fauna and flora are the characteristics that make RGGC a jewel in the city. After golf, a drive-through in the city takes you to the busy commercial areas as well as the Tree-lined Residential, Cinnamon Gardens, Fort, the former British Administrative Center and Military Garrison, Sea Street - the Goldsmith’s quarters in the heart of Pettah, the Bazaar area, where is also a Hindu Temple with elaborate stone carvings, the Dutch Church of Wolfendhal dating back to 1749 and the BMICH, see the replica of Avukana Buddha & the Independence Square. After drive-through city sightseeing, do your last minute shopping in the biggest shopping mall ODEL. At late night, bid farewell to Sri Lanka and tour ends at the airport for your midnight flight departure. Day 6: Departure from Colombo (Breakfast) Your flight takes off and returns home with great memorable of golf tour vacation with Pinnacle Travel. .
