In addition to the 11,877-seat arena, I which has earned a well-deserved reputation for being a loud and diffi cult place for opponents to play, the building features a host of other amenities to support the overall student-athlete. On the lower level, Golden Bears have access to a spacious, wood-paneled locker room that includes a player lounge, a dedicated computer resource room and a team meeting room that can be used for fi lm study. The weight room in Haas Pavilion was recently renovated and includes all new equipment, big screen televisions and computerized video panels where players can access and monitor their strength and conditioning plans and progress. Other highlights of the arena include a large and modernized sports medi- cine area, a student-athlete computer area and a Club Room that can handle everything from gameday receptions to press conferences to daily training table. Athletic administration and coaches offi ces, as well as a team store, are also located inside the building. 4 CALIFORNIACAALLIFIFOORRNINIA GOLDENGGOOLLDDEENN BBEARSEAARRSS 2012-1320201122-1-13 Men'sMMeen'n's BasketballBaBasskketetbaballll InformationInfformmaatit onn GuideGuiuiddee CalBears.comCalalBBeearrss..cocom ESPN GAMEDAY EXPERIENCE EESPNSPN GGAMEDAYAMEDAY EEXPERIENCEXPERIENCE When California welcomed UCLA to Haas Pavilion in March 2009, the game was televised nationally on ESPN, and the ESPN Gameday crew came out to Berkeley for the day.
