8 Takapuna Grammar 481 The elite award is Premier Scholarship and a minimum of four Outstanding single subject Scholarships (ie marks in the high 90s) are required to gain this prestigious prize worth NZ$30,000 or 150,000 RMB over three years of university study.

The Premier Scholarship is confined to the top 5-10 students in the examination every year.
