Not every project requires a professional project management tool. This session will focus on what project management tools are available and when/where to use them. The focus will be the utilization on tools such as Microsoft To-do, Microsoft Planner and Microsoft Project and their collaboration with a team using available tools in the M365 framework. However there will be a discussion on other project management tools such as Trello , Asana, Monday.com and more. Microsoft Office MICROSOFT OFFICE INTRODUCTION Microsoft Office is an office suite of desktop applications, servers and services for the Microsoft Windows and OS X operating systems. It was first announced by Bill Gates of Microsoft on August 1, 1988 at COMDEX in Las Vegas. Initially a marketing term for a bundled set of applications, the first version of Office contained Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint. Over the years, Office applications have grown substantially closer with shared features such as a common spell checker, OLEdata integration and Visual Basic for Applications scripting language. Microsoft also positions Office as a development platform for line-of-business software under the Office Business Applications brand. On 10 July 2012, Softpedia reported that Office is used by over a billion people worldwide. The current versions are Office 2013 for Windows, released on October 11, 2012; and Office 2011 for OS X, released October 26, 2010 On 24 October 2012, the RTM final code of Office 2013 Professional Plus was released to TechNet and MSDN subscribers for download. On 15 November 2012, the 60-day trial version of Office 2013 Professional Plus was released for download. All devices running Windows Phone and Windows RT come pre-installed with Office Mobile and Office RT, respectively. Office Mobile is also available for Android phones and the iPhone. A version of Office for the iPad was launched in March 2014. The evolution was shaped by an interplay of new technologies on the one hand, and innovative application ideas from communities on the other. At a technological scale, alternation between vastly distributed and centralized architectures can be observed. The current challenges caused by the ongoing digital transformation are changing workplace settings and the adoption of the Internet of Things in industrial use cases, as for example in the context of Industry 4.0. On the Web, new technologies and device types sprawl together with new communication protocols and revised application programming interfaces (APIs). This inhibits the demanded rapid innovation cycles and creates a disruptive and unstable environment in which the requirements of endless communities must be met. Information systems infrastructure, while only partially visible and thus hard to grasp, has a strong influence on user practices. Therefore, the aim of this thesis is to stabilize the dichotomies apparent in the Web by means of an agile information systems development methodology. -

How To Register and Install Office 365 TO REGISTER THE FIRST TIME Go to the website: http://office.com/getoffice365 Click on STUDENT or TEACHERS in the middle of the screen. Enter your email address Click GET STARTED Click I’m a Teacher (Students should click I’m a Student) You should see a message that you already have an account, click CONTINUE Log in with your email address and network password and click SIGN-IN Click START, or if you get a warning, click OK GOT IT. Then follow the prompts. When finished, your screen should be full of Office Tiles such as Word, Excel, OneDrive, etc. To set up your external storage, click on the ONEDRIVE icon (blue clouds) and follow the prompts to configure ONEDRIVE FOR BUSINESS Click on the person icon in the upper right hand corner and choose SIGN OUT TO LOGIN AND DOWNLOAD SOFTWARE AFTER REGISTRATION Go to the website: http://office.com and choose SIGN IN in the upper right hand corner Enter your Line Mountain Email Address and Password and click on SIGN IN If prompted, choose WORK ACCOUNT At the top of the screen, click on INSTALL OFFICE 2016 (or choose OTHER INSTALLS for previous version) Run the SETUP program to install onto your PC. The installation website changes often so simply follow the prompts for installation. If you receive a message stating you are trying to install the incorrect version of Office (32 bit or 64 bit), then click on CHOOSE LANGUAGE and click on the drop down to choose the correct 32 or 64 bit version that is being requested.
