We write with reference to your recent letter concerning the above and attach the Data Export of Injury Road Collisions, as requested.

We would like to advise that we only record collision accident data for incidents involving injury, in accordance with Home Office guidelines. The description of any collision is an expression of opinion of the reporting officer. It is recorded for our own internal purposes only and we cannot be held liable for any error.

This data has primarily been recorded for statistical purposes and analysis, to assist Local Authorities in casualty reduction engineering and road safety improvements, and although correct to the best of our knowledge, should not be relied upon as evidence of fact.

In order to retrieve this data we may have searched on a wider area than you specified, however, the relevant information is contained within this report.

Please note that we are unable to provide data for collisions north of the horizontal blue lineshown on the 'Eversley Cross Map - boundary'. For data in this area, please contact Wiltshire Police.

As agreed, the data is being released prior to receiving payment.

The original receipt will be destroyed 7 days after payment has been received unless we are notified otherwise by return of email.
