UN-MOUNTED HORSEMANSHIP EVENINGS with cake!! Monday evenings 7 pm at Darknoll Farm, Okeford Fitzpaine DT11 0RP

Aimed at improving horse care and management skills during the winter months, this is back to basics monthly training with demonstrations on care of your horse in the stable and talks indoors in the warm. Each month will cover a different topic such as rugging and bandaging, worming, feeding, shoeing, care of the horse at grass versus the stable, paddock checks, poisonous plants, fencing, care of the hot horse after exercise, natural behaviour, fire precautions on the yard. These are a fun opportunity to get together with your friends, make new ones and learn stuff too!

These evenings are FREE to members – we just ask for a £2 donation towards refreshments on the night. Occasionally a demonstration will be more but no more than £5. No advance payment is required but please let Kathy (or Louise) know that you are coming for catering.
