You don’t need to travel far to find a complete escape from the world. The infamous beauty of Scotland is on show in every direction here, with luscious countryside stretching out from every corner of House. Located on the , Dunvegan is perched on the edge of the Sea, with dramatic views to match the remote location. The warmth and comfort of this immaculate house juxtaposes the rugged landscape that surrounds you, creating the perfect hideaway.

This large eight-room cottage has been carefully renovated, blending charm and character with modern day provisions to suit a group of twelve guests. Feeling both spacious and yet cosy, the house is well suited to family getaways, with room for your whole group to spread out and relax, each guest finding their own nook to relax in. The house sits in a beautiful walled garden, with ample room to enjoy the outdoors.

The front door opens into a bright entrance hall, with a large window and armchair where you can sit and read a book. Leading through to the main living areas, this transitional space speaks to the tasteful design and cosy furnishings that you can continue to expect around this home. There is a large kitchen and dining room, fully equipped for your use; be it cooking the family classics or a special occasion meal! The lounge offers the sophistication of Chesterfield sofas and a feature fireplace, suiting quieter moments as a group. There is also a shower room downstairs for your convenience.

Stepping upstairs, the first floor boasts two large en-suite double bedrooms, with picture frame windows capturing the surrounding landscapes. A third double bedroom and a twin room share the generous family bathroom on the same floor. The top floor of the house offers a further two double bedrooms, that share a second family bathroom.

With views of the Loch and countryside from every window around the house, we are sure it won’t take long for you to head out and explore. Loch Dunvegan itself is a mere 50 metres away, whilst and Gardens are a 5- minute drive away. There is a bakery, restaurant and convenience store with a short walk of the house as well as a bus stop, although a car definitely makes it easier to explore this area.

Located in the North East of the Isle of Skye, Loch Dunvegan House is perched on the edge of the Sea, with dramatic views across the beautiful countryside to match the remote location. The largest of the , Skye is home to some of Scotland's most iconic landscapes. A real escape from the world, the area is celebrated by outdoor enthusiasts, with striking views in every direction you look. Skye can be visited for a few days whilst on a tour of Scotland or you can stay for a longer spell, but either way the island is sure to enchant you, with its mountain ranges, miles of dramatic coastline and captivating history.

The Isle of Skye is connected to Scotland’s northwest coast by a bridge, and the drive itself is something to be remembered. Known for its rugged landscapes, picturesque fishing villages and medieval castles, Skye is arguably one of the most magical places in the UK. Loch Dunvegan House is a brilliant base for exploring all the Isle has to offer, with Dunvegan Castle and Gardens a mere 5-minute drive away, whilst the likes of Neist point, Coral beach, the Distillery and The Old Man of Stor are all within easy reach by car.

The immediate area offers you conveniences, with a small convenience store, post office, restaurant, bar and bus stop, whilst the wider area provides supermarkets and more shops, on top of a fantastic array of outdoor activities. The house is perfectly positioned for walking, sea and loch fishing, cycling, mountain biking and even bird watching, spectacular scenery is in abundance, and you only have to walk out your front door to enjoy it! For golfers, the Isle of Skye Golf Club is in , a 35-minute drive from the house. Both land and sea offer so much to explore, no trip is long enough on the Isle of Skye!

Of course, as with any trip to Scotland, the weather is unpredictable, and it can often feel as though you have seen multiple seasons in one day! With this in mind, make sure you pack for rain and shine alike, and if you are visiting in the summer months, pop some insect spray in your bag as well!
