Javier Castro, best known as Javi, is a jun- ior on the varsity football team. He plays left guard and has been playing football for Eisen- hower since his freshman year. Javier is a ded- icated football player and is always there to be one of the most encouraging players on the field. With a smile bigger than most, Javi en- courages his team mates to keep pushing as hard as possible. His goal for this football season was to hopefully make it into the playoffs and contin- ue the season, but if not, to beat Davis. The later of those two goals was accomplished this past Friday when the Cadets beat the Pirates 27-21. Javi hopes that he can continue football fur- ther into his future but he is willing to take on whatever challenges come at him.
