SCOUT LE ADER F AS T ST ART O RIENTATION T R AINING (ONLINE) When new Cub Scout leaders are selected in Scouting, it is essential that they receive immediate information that will help them get started. Fast Start training helps new leaders understand what is expected of them in their new job. Learn more about the Cub Scout program and get the information needed to confidently run or participate in your first den, pack, or committee meeting. Register through MyScouting.Scouting.org.

Learn how to keep our youth safe! Youth Protection training must be taken by all registered adult leaders, and must be renewed every 2 years.

THIS IS SCOUTING (O NLINE)

This course is for all new leaders in Cub Scouting, Boy Scouting, , and . It is an online interactive learning experience that is divided into six modules. It introduces participants to the following areas of the Scouting program: Mission, Vision, and Values; Programs for All Ages and Abilities; Scouting is Fun!; Scouting in the Community; Protecting Our Youth; and Scouting's Legacy. Each leader needs to complete This is Scouting Training only once.

CUB SCOUT LEADER SPECIFIC TRAINING - FULL COURSE AND UPGR ADES (ONLINE)

Gets you up to speed in your new Cub Scout position. This training is focused on teaching the new leader, or leader who is moving to a new position, just how easy and fun Cub Scouting can be! If you are training for the first time as a Cub Scout Leader, you must take the full course. If you are already a trained Cub Scout leader, moving to a new position, and have already taken the full course, then you should take a much shorter upgrade course. The upgrade course will involve only specific information and skills you will need for your new position.

[Pack XXX] believes in having all of its leaders fully trained so that they may wear the "TRAINED" patch on their Scouting Uniform, providing all of our Scouts with a fun-filled, safe, and action-packed program! For new leaders, or those that are changing positions, we encourage you to become "Trained" as soon as possible.

SUPPLEMENTAL CUB SCOUT LEADER TRAINING Many of the activities the pack is involved in require the completion of Supplemental Training. This is to ensure the safety of the Scouts involved in those activities. These courses provide fast and efficient training on the basics of keeping scouts safe, during potentially dangerous activities.
