Dear Applicant, Congratulations You Have Been Short Listed to Participate Dear Applicant, Congratulations you have been short listed to participate in the final round of auditions in Mumbai for fbb Femina Miss India 2014. Every contestant is required to come prepared for the registration and audition as we commence the training immediately after the shortlisting of the finalists. The selected candidates for Miss India 2014 will not be able to leave till the 6th of March. This email is segregated in five parts, you are requested to make immediate note of the following points and read the entire mail carefully!! 1) Registration and Final round of audition details 2) Details for the Finalists from the 1st- 6th of March 3) Details for the Finalists from the 6th- 10th of March 4) Details for the Finalists from 11th-16th of March 5) Details for the Finalists from the 11th- 5th of April FINAL ROUND OF AUDITIONS AND REGISTRATIONS DATE: 1st of March VENUE: Palladium Hotel, Phoenix Mills, Lower Parel TIME: 9:00 AM IMPORTANT POINTS: Please note that it is compulsory for you to register at the Miss India registration desks on 1st of March at 9 AM. The Registration process involves following: You are requested to carry with you requisite documents and pictures as follows: Photocopy of Passport ( if you do not have a passport please make sure you apply for one at the earliest/ you can register yourself for the pageant without one) Photocopy of Birth Certificate ( if you don't have one please carry pan card copy or driving license copy etc) Unmarried status affidavit on a Rs.100/ stamp paper Fitness certificate from your doctor which states you are physically & mentally fit. Three Photographs Close up, mid-length and full-length (A4 SIZE High resolution) Please carry 4 childhood pictures one of age 3 , age 10, age 13/ 14 and a current picture. Food will not be provided so you are advised to carry some dry snacks to the venue Please note that even if you have submitted all of the above documents by courier it is compulsory to bring a copy of the same to the audition venue. If you are missing any one of the documents you will NOT be allowed to participate. Parents, friends and chaperones will not be allowed inside the venue. You must inform them that the event would take until late evening to finish. Miss India Organization will not provide for travel and stay expenses incurred by you at this level. Once you have successfully registered with us, you would be guided you will be briefed on the show flow for the day. Please note you will have to get ready by yourself. HAIR AND MAKE UP will not be PROVIDED FOR APPLICANTS!! Avoid colored contact lenses. Judges should be able to see natural eye color. Natural contact lenses are allowed You are expected to maintain basic hygiene and come groomed and well kempt for the event. This means you ought to turn up waxed (remove all unnecessary body hair underarms, bikini etc), manicure, pedicure. Neatness will be noted. Please come prepared with the list of things mentioned below. Please do not fix any other engagements for the same day as the audition round would take until late evening to finish. You are also requested not to incur any additional costs at this stage to acquire any dresses, make up, accessories at this stage. Please borrow from friends as far as possible or get the nearest option you have to possess the requirement Please be well presented and well behaved at all times (even if you are just lounging around in the hotel). Your appearance, code of conduct shall be noted every day. Miss India team is not liable to speak to contestants parents & guardians at any stage. We trust that you are over 18 years of age & believe that you can handle things by yourself. Please ensure you bring the following articles with you to the Audition: 1. Black Bikini: Please carry some options of black swim wear - two-piece, well fitted and in good condition. A bikini is a swimsuit, do not wear under wear alternatively or sports wear 2. Sarong : Carry appropriate sarong to go with the same. 3. Bathrobe: A bathrobe to cover up in between sessions and in the green room. Please make sure you don’t walk around the hotel without a bathrobe 4. Hot pants (shorts): Denims 5. White singlet / Ganjee (plain white and not printed) 6. Cocktail Dress: 1-2 options of short, fitted, black sexy cocktail dresses. Please DO NOT wear long evening gowns for Round 2. 7. Inners: Appropriate inners for all above articles such as skin tone panty hose, g - strings, strapless bras, silicone's and cups for swimwear, panty liners etc. 8. Footwear: Appropriate footwear for above: pair of stiletto heels in black, silver, gold and skin. Please ensure that these are not platforms or wedges and are minimum of 4 inch heels and above 9. Jewellery : Appropriate jewellery, accessories to go with your wardrobe jewellery and attire ( No jewellery with Bikini ). 10. Makeup: Cannot be loud, has to be minimalist and natural (no red lipstick, emphasis on the eyes and lips) The Audition round will have two rounds: The first round will be the swimsuit round where the contestants will wear bikinis with sarongs for judges to assess the overall physical criteria- height, proportionality etc. This will be the first elimination round. The second round Cocktail dress round. Here the judges could ask you a couple of questions to get to know you better- about yourself, why Miss India, questions on your interests, career, future, family etc. You would be briefed in detail at the venue IF YOU ARE SELECTED AS A FINALIST FOR fbb FEMINA MISS INDIA 2014, YOU WILL NEED THE BELOW MANDATORY LIST OF ITEMS WITH YOU AT THE AUDITIONS. Details for the Finalists from the 1st- 6th of March TRAINING DATES: 1st- 6th of March IMPORTANT POINTS: 1) Swimsuit: Please carry some options of swim wear – two-piece, well fitted and in good condition. Preferably in black or the next best option in a solid color 2) A bathrobe to cover up in between sessions and in the green room 3) DENIM Hot pants (shorts) 4) White singlet / Ganjee 5) 4-6 options of short, fitted, sexy cocktail dresses in colors that best suit you. Saree Blouse and petticoat 6) 2-3 evening gowns 7) Appropriate inners for all above articles such as skin colour g - strings, strapless bras, silicones bra,nipple tapes, panty liners/ tampons etc. 8) Appropriate footwear for above: pair of stiletto heels in silver, gold, black are required for the cocktail dresses and evening gowns so please ensure to carry them. 9) Appropriate jewellery, accessories to go with your wardrobe and attire Please have neat and clean hair. 10) You are expected to maintain basic hygiene and come groomed and well kempt for the event. Details for the Finalists from the 6th- 10th of March Please note that these details are strictly for the finalists of Miss India 2014 1) There will no training from the 6th-10th of March as you need to prepare for the following rounds of Miss India 2014 o National Costume- You need to create an innovative outfit that showcases you as an Indian woman. You can google references for national costumes (International Pageants) o Talent Round- Need to come prepared with an outstanding talent. Please remember to carry an outfit, music and anything that pertains to your talent. o Beauty with a Purpose- This is a social project, an extremely important part of the main pageant. You need to present a social cause relevant to our country and society. The presentation could be in any format, visual (video), verbal, act, dance. Please ensure you pick a topic that you believe in and can talk about it excessively.
