Lakhs of such properties are expected to come to the market given that housing is turning out to be the largest loan segment for banks.

According to Magicbricks CEO Sudhir Pai (https://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/topic/Sudhir-Pai), banks and sellers are looking to liquidate their repossessed assets through credible platforms. “This has opened up a window of opportunity for banks and non- banking financial companies (NBFCs) to leverage Magicbricks for e-auction and recover some of their investments,” he said.
