THE COUNTY COUNCIL (VARIOUS ROADS IN THE DISTRICT OF ) (PROHIBITION AND RESTRICTION OF WAITING AND LOADING AND UNLOADING AND ON-STREET PARKING PLACES) (AMENDMENT 18) ORDER 201*

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Kent County Council intends to make an Order under Section 1, 2,35,36,45,46,47,49, 53, 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, the effect of which will be to amend Appendix 7 – , Appendix 9 – Edenbridge, Appendix 10 – , Appendix 13 – Halstead, and Appendix 30 – and Crockham Hill in “The Kent County Council (Various Roads in the District of Sevenoaks) (Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting and Loading and Unloading and On-Street Parking Places) (Consolidation) Order 2013” and subsequent amendment Orders thereto, by making the following changes:

In the Parish of Crockenhill: Road Proposed changes

Green West side, from its junction with Stones Cross Introduce new length of “no Court Road, north eastwards following the kerb line waiting at any time” (double Road for 182m yellow line) restriction

In the Town of Edenbridge: Road Proposed changes

Ashbys South side, between points 22.5m and 31.5m Remove length of existing Close east of the eastern kerbline of Mill Hill, “no waiting at any time” (double yellow line) restriction

In the Parish of Eynsford: Road Proposed changes

High Street Southeast side, between points 7m and 15m Introduce new length of “no (A225) north east of a point in line with the north waiting at any time” eastern edge of carriageway of Priory Lane (double yellow line) restriction High Street Northwest side, from a point 18m south west Introduce new length of “no (A225) of the south western kerb line of Mill Lane waiting at any time” south westwards for 95.5m (double yellow line) restriction

In the Parish of Halstead: Road Proposed changes

London Northeast side, from a point 20m east of the NO MATERIAL CHANGE: Road & eastern kerb line of Wheatsheaf Hill, south Note: This is a housekeeping Old eastwards, following the edge of carriageway, exercise, to ensure that the London to a point 240m northwest of the existing “no waiting Monday Road northwestern kerb line of Badgers Rise. to Friday, 11am - Noon” (single yellow line) restriction described in The Kent County Council (Various Roads in the District of Sevenoaks) (Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting and Loading and Unloading and On-Street Parking Places) (Consolidation) Order 2013 corresponds to the current extent of single yellow line marked on the road.

In the Parish of Westerham and Crockham Hill: Road Proposed changes

Hosey Hill East side, from the northern boundary of the Introduce new length of “no (B2026) property known as “Lavenders”, northwards, waiting at any time” (double following the edge of carriageway, for 34m yellow line) restriction

A copy of the draft Order together with a statement of reasons for proposing to make the Order may be inspected at the Council Offices, Argyle Road, Sevenoaks, Kent, TN13 1HG between the hours of 9.00am and 5.00pm Mondays to Thursdays and 9.00am and 4.45 pm on Fridays.

Any person wishing to object to the making of the Order or support it should send their grounds in writing to Kent County Council’s agent for the Order, Sevenoaks District Council at the aforementioned address quoting “TRO 2013 Amend 18”, or online via the following link by no later than noon on 4 November 2016: www.sevenoaks.gov.uk/parkingconsultations
