CUMBRIA’S MILITARY MUSEUM AUCTION IN AID OF THE ALMA PROJECT A Short Guide To The Auction Process

Those with computers will receive an invitation to bid by e-mail which will contain a link to the electronic catalogue on the Museum Website. The catalogue may be viewed at any time for the latest information about each Lot. The administrator will update the online catalogue every day over the period of the auction.

Those without computers will receive a hard copy of the catalogue and may bid to the auction administrator by post or telephone. If a higher bid is received the administrator will bid on your behalf until your upper limit has been reached. He will notify you when you are no longer the highest bidder and ask if you wish to continue. It is recommended that those with no internet access ask a friend with a computer to monitor the online catalogue on their behalf.
