achieving with autism since 2008 As a not-for-profit organisation and a registered charity, Abacus Learning Centre relies on the generosity of many individuals and businesses to continue achieving with autism. Items kindly donated for the Gala Dinner helps Abacus raise much-needed funds which are vital to the ongoing success of the centre, this includes subsidising early intervention costs and working towards a purpose-built centre for Abacus. For the 10 Year Anniversary Gala you can help by participating in either the live auction, which brings the most highly anticipated items of the night or the silent auction, which is a fun way to mingle with friends and place bids on everything from lovingly handmade items to local attractions, services and gift vouchers. You can also purchase raffle tickets and a range of merchandise items, with every dollar raised going to Abacus. From 2018 the gala will be a biennial event, with the next one schedule for 2020. Abacus hopes as many people as possible will help Abacus achieve their target to raise over $50,000.

How to bid on live auction items...

Step 1 - Placing a Bid The Live Auction will take place at 9:40pm. The auctioneer will guide the bidding by introducing and taking bids for each item. If you would like to make a bid on one of the items, please raise your hand and you will be acknowledged by the auctioneer.
