Opening of the 2020 season This is how tourism works. Before the end of the previous year, the marketing activities of the next year begin. September came and suitcases were packed, brochures packed in bags. Now is the time for World tourism fairs, especially in Asian countries. The target is more tourists and more tourism income. In this issue, we are introducing Mersin, which will be the new tour- ism city and holiday destination from Turkey. On the one hand, along with its historical and commercial characteristics and with the long Mediterranean coast, Mersin will be an important tourism destination in the near future. For our Turkish readers, the destination of this issue is Thailand’s holiday island – Samui. Samui has increasingly become a world-famous tourist island. You will enjoy reading the article. 21.1 million visited Turkey in the First Half of 2019 Turkey welcomed a growing number of international travelers in the first half of 2019, according to the latest statistics announced by Turkish Statistical Institute (TurkStat). According to the arrivals data, the number of arriving visitors in Turkey in second quarter of 2019 has reached 21,151,530 with 11.81% increase compared to the same quarter of the previous year. The number of arriving citizens residing abroad has reached 3,075,024 with 4.27% increase compared to the same quarter of the previous year. In June 2019, the number of foreign visitors arrived is 5,318,984 which increased by 18.05% compared to the previous year. Of the 5,318,984 foreign visitors arrived in June, 60,198 (1.13%) are excursionists. In June 2019, top 5 provinces foreign visitors entered Turkey are: 1-Antalya %41.44 (2,204,220) 2- %25.59 (1,361,302) 3-Muğla %10.04 (533,909) 4-Edirne %7.88 (418,902) 5-Artvin %3.59 (190,859) In the January-June 2019 period the number of foreign visitors arrived increased by 13.2% compared to the previous year. A total of 18,076,506 tourists visited Turkey. Of the 18,076,506 foreign visitors arrived in January- June 2019 period, 181,814 (1.01%) are excursionists. In January-June 201, top 5 provinces foreign visitors entered Turkey are: 1-İstanbul %37.49 (6 777 208) 2-Antalya %29.56 (5 344 008) 3-Edirne %10.03 (1 813 866) 4-Muğla %6.08 (1 099 163) 5-Artvin %5.20 (940 512) In the June 2019, the top tourism markets for Turkey are Russia with 19.47% (1,035,745), Germany with 11.06% (588,508) United Kingdom (UK) with 6.76% (359,462) share of the total visitors. United Kingdom (UK) is followed by Bulgaria and Ukraine.

Istanbul Design Biennial Unveils The Curator of its 5th Edition Organised by the Istanbul Foundation for Culture and Arts (İKSV), the 5th Istanbul Design Biennial will take place on 26 September – 8 November 2020. The biennial will be curated by architect and curator Mariana Pestana. Pestana, who works between Porto and London, is one of the co-founders of The Decorators, an interdisciplinary practice that makes collaborative public realm interventions and cultural programmes. Her personal interest lies in critical social practice and the role of fiction in re- imagining futures for an age marked by technological progress and an ecological crisis. Having previously worked as a curator at the Department of Architecture, Design and Digital at the Victoria and Albert Museum (V&A), Pestana recently co-curated the exhibitions titled The Future Starts Here at the V&A (2018) and ArkDes – Swedish Centre for Architecture and Design (2019), Eco Visionaries: Art and Architecture After the Anthropocene at MAAT (2018), Eco Visionaries: Towards an Interspecies Future at Matadero (2019), and a third iteration of the latter, which will open at The Royal Academy in November 2019. She was also the curator of The Real and Other Fictions, which was exhibited in 2013 under Close, Closer, the third edition of the Lisbon Architecture Triennale, and This Time Tomorrow, the V&A display at the World Economic Forum 2016 in Davos. At the moment she is curating Fiction Practice, the Young Curators Lab for the Porto Design Biennale 2019. Pestana’s academic career has led her to teach at institutions such as Central Saint Martins, Chelsea College of Arts, and Royal College of Arts. She holds a PhD in Architecture from the Bartlett School of Architecture. The 5th Istanbul Design Biennial Advisory Board members are Jan Boelen, curator of the 4th Istanbul Design Biennial and newly appointed rector of the Karlsruhe University of Arts and Design; Carlos Mínguez Carrasco, senior curator at ArkDes – Swedish Centre for Architecture and Design; Selva Gürdoğan, partner at SUPERPOOL – International Multidisciplinary Design Studio; Catherine Ince, curator of the V&A East project; and Amelie Klein, independent curator and writer.

Turkish travelers now pay more tax when traveling abroad As the Turkey’s central government budget balance posted a deficit of some 66.5 billion Turkish liras ($11.9 billion) in the January-May period this year, the Justice and Development Party (AKP) submitted a bill which is later accepted. According to the new omnibus bill, Turkish citizens now pay more tax when leaving the country. The tax amount is increased from 15 Turkish liras to 50 Turkish liras. A 230 percent price hike to departure tax for Turkish nationals travelling abroad will affect the number of Turkish travelers traveling abroad. Istanbul hosted the 2019 UEFA Super Cup Istanbul hosted the first all-English UEFA Super Cup. UEFA Champions League holders Liverpool and UEFA Europa League winners Chelsea played for the 2019 title. Liverpool captured the 2019 UEFA Super Cup on August 14 at Istanbul’s Vodafone Park Stadium after beating Chelsea 5-4 on penalties. Chelsea’s young forward Tammy Abraham missed the final penalty and Liverpool won on penalties 5-4, lifting the 2019 UEFA Super Cup. French referee Stephanie Frappart officiated the game and became the first female referee ever to take charge of the major men’s European match at the UEFA Super Cup clash. After the game, Liverpool wrote ‘’We love Istanbul’’ on Twitter, as the Reds won their second European Cup in Istanbul with this victory. In the May 25, 2005 Champions League final, Liverpool faced Serie A giants Milan to win the top-tier European trophy in Istanbul at Ataturk Olympic Stadium. Istanbul also hosted the 2009 UEFA Cup final between Ukraine’s Shakhtar Donetsk and German club Werder Bremen, with Donetsk capturing the cup in a 2-1 match. In addition, the 2020 UEFA Champions League final will be played in Istanbul at Ataturk Olympic Stadium on May 30.

Turkish Airlines launches Istanbul - Mexico City - Cancun flights Turkish Airlines, flying to more countries than any other airline, expands its flight network with a new route from Istanbul to Mexico City, the second biggest city of Latin America and capital of Mexico along with Cancún, one of the favorite holiday centers of Central America. The flights to Mexico City and Cancún, the 18th and 19th destinations of Turkish Airlines in the Americas, will be operated three days a week on Istanbul-Mexico City-Cancún route starting from August 21, 2019. With these flights, Turkish Airlines adds Mexico, the biggest country of Central America, to its flight network, thus offering a connectivity opportunity to a greater area from Istanbul Airport. Turkish Airlines Chairman of the Board and the Executive Committee M. İlker Aycı, said; “We continue to expand the borders of our flight network within the framework of our growth strategy. Following Bali, we are happy to be able to connect these two important cities of the Americas to 125 countries around the world. From this day forth, our guests traveling to Mexico City and Cancún will be able to fly with the comfort of Turkish Airlines. We believe our new flights will strengthen the ties between Turkey and Mexico in every way.” Once homeland of Mayans and Aztecs, Mexico City carries the signs of the first civilizations of Americas dating back as far as 2000s BC. It is also a city of commerce as one of the important trade centers of the Americas. Featuring over 150 museums, second only to Paris in terms of their sheer number, Mexico City’s cultural heritage draws tourists from all over the globe. The ancient city of Teotihuacan and its pyramids are the other touristic options to discover near Mexico City. The city manages to meet all expectations with its colonial architecture, tasty Mexican cuisine, beautiful squares, and numerous fun activities. Emiratis Boost Tourist Traffic into Turkey The popularity of Turkish cities in the Middle East continues to rise. Turkish Cultural and Tourism Office in Dubai announced that UAE nationals continue to travel to Turkish cities in rising numbers. According to the latest data, 13,296 Emiratis have visited multiple destinations across Turkey within the first four months of the year. 4,466 UAE nationals traveled to Turkey during the month of April, representing a 34.27% increase when compared April last year. On the heels of this growth, several non- stop flights from have been launched from Sharjah International Airport to Turkish cities, with Air Arabia flying into Antalya and Trabzon, and Turkish Airlines flying between the emirate and Istanbul. Meanwhile, a total of 110 flights now depart from the UAE’s airports for several destinations across Turkey each week. “We are delighted to see Turkey climb to one of the most popular tourist destinations for Emiratis as well as other Gulf nationals. Visitors from neighboring nations have always played a significant role in driving economic growth within Turkey by boosting its tourism sector,” commented Salih Ozer, Attaché of Culture and Information, Turkey to the UAE. Over 8,735,200 tourists from around the world flew into Turkey in April, representing a 24% increase in comparison to April last year. The largest influx of tourists into Turkey in the first four months of 2019 has been from Germany at just over 803,480 visitors, followed by Bulgaria and Russia. Turkey’s Mediterranean province of Antalya also recently broke its record for the number of tourists arriving by air on a single day — 85,205 visitors flew into the city on June 8, 2019. Inbound tourist traffic per month also rose by 17% in June with 570,422 visitors to the city. So far, 3,870,211 tourists have visited Antalya this year with an 18% increase when compared to the same period last year. The attaché added, “Turkey has a lot to offer tourists, from an adventurous holiday at the shores of the Black Sea to a relaxing vacation on Mediterranean beaches, from historic sites to iconic attractions, to plenty of exclusive shopping. The country’s proximity coupled with relaxed visa formalities makes it the perfect destination for our Arab neighbors. The outlook for the tourism sector is indeed quite positive, and we are hoping to hit record-breaking highs throughout the year.”

Bangkok Airways and Turkish Airlines announce a new codeshare partnership Bangkok Airways Public Company Limited (PG) and Turkish Airlines (TK) announced a new codeshare partnership, which will provide their passengers with convenient travel connections from Turkey to destinations in Thailand and other cities in Southeast Asia, commenced on 1stAugust, 2019. Under this agreement, codeshare flights operated by Bangkok Airways currently covers 16 roundtrip routes on both domestic and international; Bangkok- Chiang Mai, Bangkok-Chiang Rai, Bangkok- Lampang, Bangkok-Sukhothai, Bangkok-Trat, Bangkok-Samui, Bangkok-Phuket, Bangkok- Krabi, Samui-Phuket, Bangkok-Danang, Bangkok-Phu Quoc, Bangkok-Yangon, Bangkok-Mandalay, Bangkok-Nay Pyi Taw, Bangkok-Vientiane and Bangkok – Luang Prabang. The report, sponsored by American Express, reveals that in Turkey, of the sectors studied and driven by improvements in safety following a difficult period, Travel & Tourism is the second largest sector in terms of GDP contribution (12.1%), ahead of Agriculture (10.2%) and Financial Services (7.8%), just behind Construction (19.6%). Travel & Tourism’s contribution to employment during 2018 was 7.7%, ahead of both Financial Services and Banking at 3.3% and 2.0% respectively. Marriott International Launches All-Inclusive Platform Marriott International is launching an all-inclusive platform to serve this increasingly popular vacation segment. The company has also signed management contracts with hotel developers who plan to build five new all-inclusive resorts, investing more than $800 million. The resorts are expected to open between 2022 and 2025. Marriott International plans to further expand its all-inclusive portfolio in popular, leisure destinations worldwide with a mix of new-build properties and conversions of existing resorts, including properties currently in the Marriott International portfolio. The new platform will provide the company’s 133 million Marriott Bonvoy members the option to earn and redeem points for this convenient, pay-one-price concept. British Airways’ pilots to strike in September The British Airline Pilots Association (BALPA) has given notice to British Airways that it will call on its members to strike on 9th, 10th, and 27th September 2019. “We are extremely sorry that after many months of negotiations, based on a very fair offer, BALPA has decided on this reckless course of action,” said British Airways in a statement. BA is now making changes to its schedule. “We will do everything we can to get as many people away on their journeys as possible. However, it is likely that many of our customers will not be able to travel and we will be offering refunds and re-bookings for passengers booked on canceled flights.” Flights on BA CityFlyer, SUN-AIR and Comair are not affected. A day of strike action will cost BA around £40m. Three days will cost in the region of £120m. The gap between BA’s position and BALPA’s position is about £5m. Our proposal remains on the table should BA wish to reach an agreement prior to strike action. Bangkok Airways opens new Passenger Lounges in Phuket Bangkok Airways has introduced its new passenger lounges at Phuket International Airport, offering comfort and convenience for Bangkok Airways’s passengers while waiting for their flights. The new lounges are located near gate 4 on the 2nd floor of Domestic Departure Terminal. The brand new lounges have a total of 134sqm in size which the Boutique Lounge (for economy class passengers) can accommodate up to 40 persons while the Blue Ribbon Club Lounge (for business class passengers and FlyerBonus Premier Members) can accommodate up to 20 passengers. The freight industry has not fared as well. After falling -2.8% in May, the global freight market fell again, by -5.1% in June. Total freight volumes declined -3.2% for the first half of the year. The region’s growth rate stood at +4.3% for the first half of the year, having just sped ahead of North America. The international segment drove most of its total passenger growth, at +5.4% year-to-date, versus +1.4% for the domestic market. After performing similarly to Europe until the month of May, North America stood at +3.9% by the end of the second quarter. The region’s total passenger traffic grew +2.9% on a year-over-year basis in June. Unlike Asia- Pacific and Europe, North America’s domestic market remained relatively strong during the first half of the year, gaining +3.7% year-to-date, versus +4.8% for the international segment. Asia-Pacific remained the lowest performer of the major regional markets in June, gaining +2.1%. The region ended the first half of the year with +1.9% growth on a year-to-date basis. Bangkok and Chiang Mai are facing over tourism issues The quarterly Thailand Tourism Confidence Index of 600 tourism operators was steady at 100 in the second quarter of 2019 and stood at 100 as predicted in the previous quarter. The projection of the Thailand Tourism Confidence Index for the third quarter of 2019 is also set at 100. The survey is a collaboration between the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), Tourism Council of Thailand (TCT) and Chulalongkorn University’s Faculty of Economics and divided into six parts. These include an overview of Thai tourism, confidence index of tourism operators, testimonials from domestic and international tourists, tourism situation during key festivals, international tourist arrival projections, and recommendations for future action. The index ratings have a range of between 0 to 200: over 100 means better than the normal situation; 100 means normal; and below 100 means worse than normal. The second quarter index survey was carried out in May 2019 using a database of over 600 tourism operators as well as government officials from related agencies. Geography Mersin is in middle Mediterranean region. It is on the plateaus which starts from Bolkar Mountains of Tauruses, from the 1500 metres. Churches The region hosted various civilizations for long years. There was Byzantium and Rome culture dominant that these cultures affected Christian world and Europe very much. There are two important centers for faith tourism; first one is the house of St. Paul in Tarsus and its well which are declared as Hajj Area by Vatican. Other one is Saint Aya Tekla which was also a Hajj area during the early Christianity period, in Basucu in Silifke. It is holy both for Muslims and Christians.

Tarsus Ashab-i Kahf Cave is also in the borders of the district. Yacht Ports A yacht port project which is suits international standards for the aim of moving yacht tourism to western Mediterranean. The construction of Mersin Main Yacht harbour which has capacity of 500 yachts, still goes on. There are blue tour and moonlight tours held at Mersin Yacht Basen. Nature Areas Yalan Dunya Cave The cave is located on the Anamur-Silifke road, after Aydincik, in Sele quarter which is 13kms away. Ceramic pieces which were scattered, were found at the entrance of the cave. The cave which is formed at karstic limestones, has two entrances .The distance between the entrances is 100metres.One of the entrance is on a cover which is shaped as a vault and its opening is like a window. The entering inside the cave is provided by a special staircase. Descanting is directly on a 30metres thick ebuli, the slope of the ebuli is about 40 degrees. The large hall, here, is 92metres long and 67metres wide. after a 10metres ascending it is reached at a small hall. this hall reaches to the bottom of the well which is 30metres deep. Cennet Obruk Cave The cave is located at the 63 km. southwest Icel, 22 km away from the district Silifke. It is reached to Narlikuyu Bay by the 1800metres long asphalted road which is on the Icel-Silifke coastal roadway. Obruk which is formed by various geological movements and corrosion of underground waters, is the most attractive natural formation of Icel. the cave is formed by the collapsing of the ceiling because of the erosion of an underground stream which is located in the limestones and belongs to Miosen period. The Cennet concave declines as well and ends as a cave at the bottom. The lake which is formed while the water level is high, is dry in summer. It is descended to the Cennet and Cehennem concaves by a footpath with staircase which date back Rome period. There are church ruins at the western point.

Cehennem Obruk Cave It is at the 63 km. southwestern of Icel, 22kms away from district Silifke. The cave is located at the 75metres eastern of Cennet concave. It is formed by the collapsing of the ceiling because of the erosion which is occured by an underground stream. The stream was inside the limestones of Miosen period. The cave is elliptical. The rubbles which were heaped because of the collaption of the ceiling, go down from west to east by a slope of 30 degrees Narlikuyu Cave It is reached to the cave by an asphalted road on the Silifke-Icel Road. The cave is developed inside the Miosen limestones. It is located at the 300metres western of cennet Cave and its entrance has 160metres altitude. There are large halls inside the cave. There are plentiful stalagmites, stalactites and columns at these halls. There are auto park and guard cabins outside the cave. The cave opened to the public in 1987. Thermal Springs There are plentiful healing water springs. Some of them are; Mersin-Guneysu, Guneyyolu, Tarsus Akcakoca, Tarsus Kesbuku Springs, Silifke Saparca Spring, Mut - Hocanti Thermal Spring

Tayland’ın yazlığı, Samui Bu yıl TTM öncesi 20 yıl kadar önce gördüğümüz ve gelişimini merak ettiğimiz Tayland’ın güneyindeki Koh Samui’ye (Samui adası) tekrar bir keşfe çıktık. Güney doğu Asya ülkeleri gibi Tayland’ın da Haziran- Ekim dönemi yağmurlu ve düşük sezonu olarak bilinir. Hava sıcaklığı hep yüksek olsa da yoğun yağmurlar ile talep gören bir sezon değildir. Samui her geçen yıl yeni turistik yatırımları ile Tayland’ın tatil turizminde en önemli adası ve destinsyonu olmuştur. Samui’ye ulasım Bangkok’dan havayolu ile ya da adaya en yakın anakara şehri Suat Thani’den feribotlar ile mümkün. Bangkok – Suat Thani yine uçak ya da kara yolculuğu ile gerçekleşebiliyor. Düzgün bir yol üzerinden başladığımız ada turunun ilk durağı ünlü Büyükanne ve Büyükbaba Kayaları (Hin Ta ve Hin Yai) oldu. Fotografları sık sık sosyal medya da karşımıza çıkan erkek ve kadın cinsel organlarına benzeyen kayalar Samui’nin en turistik alanı. Adaya gelen turistler için mutlak bir uğrak ve foto çekim merkezi .

Yolumuz adanın biraz daha güneyinde önemli bir Budist merkez olarak Wat Sila Ngu oldu. Klasik dini merkezi. Bu turistik yerlere çok yakın (Secret Buddha Garden) Gizli Buda Bahçesi yolu çok düzenli olmasa da görülesi bir yer. Konakladığımız tesisin de bulunduğu en ünlü sahil Lamai Beach ve arda arda sıralanan diğer bir önemli Siver Beach ve Rocky’s Beach deniz severlerin önemli uğrak yerleri. Adanın güneyinde Thong Tanote Beach, batısında Five Islands Beach ler de diğer önemli sayfiye yerleri. Adayı Tayland anakarasındaki Surat Thai şehri ile ulaşımı sağlayan çok sayıda limandan en önemlileri batı kıyısındaki Lomprayah limanı ve otomobil taşıyan Seatran Ferry servisi bu bağlantıyı kuruyor. Yolumuz adanın kuzeyine geldiğinde Samui’nin en görkemli Budist tapınağı olan Big Buddha Temple’a ulaşıyorsunuz. Çok büyük bir Budha heykelinin çok uzaklardan da görülebilen ihtişamı ile bu anıt adanın en turistik tapınağı. Bu bölge de yine çeşitli limanlar Surat Thai ile bağlantı sağlayan teknelere hizmet veriyor. Ardından Fisherman’s Village hediyelik eşyalar satan dükkanlar, kafe ve

İlk 7 ayda 24.7 milyon turist geldi Kültür ve Turizm Bakanlığının Ocak-Temmuz 2019 dönemi yabancı ziyaretçi rakamları belli oldu. Türkiye’yi Temmuz ayında bir önceki yılın aynı ayına göre yüzde 16,67 artışla 6 milyon 617 bin 380 yabancı ziyaret etti. İlk 7 aylık verilerde ise bir önceki yılın aynı dönemine göre artış oranı yüzde 14,11 olarak gerçekleşti ve 24 milyon 693 bin 886 yabancı ziyaretçi ağırlandı. Türkiye’ye en çok ziyaretçi gönderen ülkeler sıralamasında, Temmuz ayında yüzde 16,20 artış ile Rusya Federasyonu birinci sırada yer aldı. Almanya yüzde 14,06 artış ile ikinci, İngiltere yüzde 19,78 artış ile üçüncü oldu. İngiltere’yi sırasıyla Hollanda ve Ukrayna izledi. Rusya Federasyonu, ilk 7 aylık verilerde de yüzde 14,54 artışla birinciliği korudu. Antik İyon uygarlığına ev sahipliği yapan Kıyı Ege’de Efes, Teos ve Lebedos antik kentlerinin ortak tanıtımı için ilk işbirliği protokolünü Seferihisar ve Selçuk Belediyeleri imzaladı. Dünya turizm pastasından daha fazla pay almak isteyen Ege’de komşu Türk Yunan belediyeleri iyon kentleri destinasyonu ile sahneye çıkacak. Hedef Amerika başta olmak üzere gelişmiş ülke vatandaşlarını çekmek. Proje yeni bir turist kitlesiyle buluşmak kadar mevcut kültür turizmi müdavimlerini de daha fazla konaklatmak. Seferihisar ve Selçuk Belediyeleri İzmir’in 1 yıl boyunca yakaladığı turist kadar turist getirmeyi, Seferihisar ve Selçuk’taki otellerin 12 ay boyunca doluluk oranını artırmayı hedefliyor. Ulusal ve uluslararası alanda ortak tanıtım, tanıtım materyallerinde Efes ve Teos’un birlikte yeralması, turizm şirketlerinin tur rotalarına Teos, Lebedos ve Efes’i eklemesi için çalışma yapılması amacıyla oluşturulan protokol iki belediyenin meclislerinden onay aldı.

Konuyla ilgili açıklama yapan Seferihisar Belediye Başkanı İsmail Yetişkin, “Bilim ve sanatın yeşerdiği ilk medeniyet olan İyon kentlerini iyi anlatmamız gerek. Efes, Teos, Lebedos antik kentleri bir dünya mirası… Özellikle uluslararası arenada bu değerlerimizi daha fazla öne çıkaracağız” dedi. Destinasyon turizminin önemine vurgu yapan Yetişkin, Samos’ta da İyon’lara ait antik kent olduğunu belirterek, “Konumu ve kültürüyle bize yakın olan Samos adasıyla daha çok işbirliği yapabileceğimize inanıyorum. Samos Karlovassi Belediye Başkanı Alexis Limberis’le konuyu paylaştım. Samos da bu sinerjinin içinde olmak istiyor” dedi. İstanbul uçuşlarına da başlayan Salam Air acentalar ile buluştu Umman Sultanlığı’nın ilk düşük bütçeli (low- cost) havayolu şirketi olan SalamAir 2016 yılında kurularak, 2017 yılında ilk uçuşlarına başkent Maskat’tan başladı. SalamAir, 1 Temmuz’da Trabzon uçuşlarını önceden planladığı haftada 3 uçuşu yoğun talep üzerine 4 çıkardı. Salam Air son olarak 3 Temmuz’da İstanbul Sabiha Gökçen Havalimanına uçuşlara başladı. Haftada 2 sefer olan Istanbul uçuşları ile Türkiye pazarına şu an haftada toplam 6 uçuş gerçekleştirecek olan Salam Air 2019-20 kış sezonunda Istanbul uçuşlarını haftada 3 sefere çıkaracak. Sojern tarafından 600 pazarlama uzmanı ile yapılan Seyahat Sektörü Reklam Araştırması 2019’a göre, seyahat sektöründeki pazarlama uzmanlarının yüzde 46’sı kişiselleştirilmiş ve gerçek zamanlı olarak reklam sunmanın önlerindeki en önemli zorluk olduğunu dile getirdi. Derin öğrenme ile geliştirilen algoritmaların anlık olarak tüketicilere özel teklifleri sunmaya yardımcı olduğunu belirten RTB House Türkiye Ülke Müdürü Can Tunçer, “Derin öğrenme, daha hassas hedeflemeyle kampanya performansını iyileştirmede yardımcı oluyor. Kullanıcıların ihtiyaçlarını daha doğru bir şekilde analiz ve tespit etmek için gelişmiş algoritmalar, veri modelleri kullanan derin öğrenme teknolojileri pazarlamacıların daha ileri gitmesini mümkün kılıyor. Özellikle ürün yelpazelerinin geniş ve çeşitli olduğu seyahat sektöründe, her kullanıcının kişisel zevklerine uygun kararların milisaniyeler içinde verilmesi gerekiyor. Derin öğrenme algoritmaları tarafından yapılan derinlemesine analizler, kişiselleştirilmiş tekliflerin hızlı ve büyük ölçüde her kullanıcıya özel olarak uyarlanmış şekilde görüntüleneceği anlamına geliyor. Sonuç olarak kullanıcılara yalnızca alakalı oldukları öneriler sunan reklamverenler daha etkili bir kampanya ortaya çıkarıyor” dedi. Derin öğrenme, yeniden hedefleyenlerin sadece temel kullanıcı davranışlarını (hangi ürünler veya ürün kategorilerinin ziyaret edildiği vb.) değil, aynı zamanda “gizli katman verileri”ni de analiz etmelerini sağlıyor. Vücut dilinde olduğu gibi, mikro ifadeler, gerçek ve keşfedilmemiş niyetleri açığa çıkarabiliyor. Derin öğrenmeyi kullanan gelişmiş algoritmalar; görüntülenen fırsatlar arasında geçen süre, görüntülenen ürünlerin fiyatları ve hatta mağazanın ziyaret edilen alt sayfalarının sıralamasının analiz edilebilmesine olanak tanıyor. Bu bilgilerle donatılan makineler, kullanıcının mağazada tam olarak ne yaptığını yorumluyor ve kullanıcının gerçek alışveriş amacını öngörmeye çalışıyor. Çok sayıda geçmiş veri algoritması ile kullanıcının en çok ilgisini çekebilecek ürünler tahmin ediliyor.

Uluslararası Adana Lezzet Festivali, bu yıl festivale davet edilen İtalya, Fas, Lübnan, KKTC, İspanya, Fransa, Tunus, Bosna Hersek, Arnavutluk ve Yunanistan gibi Akdeniz ülkelerini ve festivalin konuk ülkesi Güney Kore ekiplerini ağırlayacak.”Büyük Akdeniz Şöleni” temasıyla, Adana’nın yerel mutfak değerlerini, Akdeniz ülkelerinin mutfaklarıyla buluşturmaya hazırlanan 3. Yurt dışından alışverişe ayda 5 ürün sınırı! Döviz kurlarının yüksek olması nedeniyle zaten hayal olan yurt dışı gezilerine harçların 5o.-Tl ye çıkması da bir darbe vuracak.Çıkabilen de en çok 5 ürün alabilecek. Resmi Gazete’de yayınlanan (126’ncı madde) ve 14 Temmuz’da yürürlüğe giren karar kapsamında, aylık ürün sipariş etme limiti 5 olarak belirlendi. Daha önce de bedeli 22 euroyu (150 TL) aşmayan ürünlere tanınan vergi muafiyeti kaldırılmıştı. Vatandaşlar yurt dışından getirilen her ürün için vergi ödüyor. Geçtiğimiz aylarda yurt dışından alınan 22 euronun altındaki ürünlere vergi muafiyetinin kaldırılmasının ardından hükümetten ithalatı kısıtlamaya dönük bir hamle daha geldi. Yani yurt dışından bir ay içerisinde en fazla beş ürün satın almaya izin veriliyor. Şirketler ise 5 adet numune siparişi verebilecek. Bu karar hızlı kargo firmaların yaptıkları kişisel eşya, önemli değeri olmayan eşya, numunelik eşya ile kitap ve basılı yayın gibi işlemleri kapsıyor. Sosyal medya üzerindeki genel görüş ve konuya hakim kişiler tarafından yapılan yorumlar söz konusu sınırlamanın ticari akışı olumsuz etkileyeceği yönünde. Daha önce Amazon, Alibaba gibi uluslararası elektronik ticaret şirketlerinden sipariş edilerek kargoyla gönderilen ve bedeli 22 euroyu (150 TL) aşmayan ürünlere tanınan vergi muafiyeti kaldırılmıştı. Bundan böyle e-ticaret şirketleri aracılığı ile yurt dışından 1 euroya da ürün getirilse vergi ödenecek. Posta ve kargo yoluyla gelen tüm gönderilere, bedeli ne olursa olsun yüzde 18-20 oranında gümrük vergisi uygulanacak. Eskişehir Dünyanın en güvenli 10’ncu şehri Dünya kentlerindeki yaşamı her yönüyle mercek altına alan uluslararası araştırma servisi Numbeo, dünyanın en güvenli ve en tehlikeli şehirlerini sıraladı. Turizm Karikatürlerinde konu “havaalanı” Anatolia Turizm Akademisi tarafından ER Yatırım’ın ana sponsorluğunda bu yıl 11’incisi gerçekleştirilecek olan Uluslararası Turizm Karikatürleri Yarışması’na başvurular başladı. Yarışmanın bu yılki teması “Havalimanı” olarak belirlendi. “Gençler” ve “Yetişkinler” olmak üzere iki kategoride düzenlenen yarışmaya 31 Aralık 2109 tarihine kadar eser gönderilebilecek. Uluslararası Turizm Karikatürleri Yarışması “gençler” ve “yetişkinler” olmak üzere iki ayrı kategoride düzenleniyor. Gençler kategorisi 16 ve daha alt yaşlardaki, yetişkinler kategorisi de 17 ve daha üst yaşlardaki karikatür sanatçılarının katılımına açık. Her iki kategoriye her yıl 60-70 farklı ülkeden 600’den fazla karikatür sanatçısı 1300 dolayında karikatür gönderiyor. Eserler “ulusal” ve “uluslararası” olmak üzere iki farklı seçici kurul tarafından değerlendiriliyor. Putin yeşil ve gri Türkiye pasaportlarına vizeyi kaldırdı Rusya Devlet Başkanı Vladimir Putin, hizmet pasaportu ve hususi pasaport sahibi Türk vatandaşlarına uygulanan vize rejimini kaldırdı. Tarabya Ferahevler Dedeman Camisi’nde öğlen namazının ardından cenaze töreni düzenlendi. Ardından Dedeman’ın naaşı Yeniköy Mezarlığı’nda toprağa verildi. Cenaze törenine Dedeman’ın ailesi ve yakınlarının yanısıra çok sayıda turizmci de katıldı.
