SCANDINAVIAN DESIGN Scandinavia’s flair for design has ongoing influence, ranging from the distinctive mid-century modern aesthetic of designers such as Arne Jacobsen to the expressive architecture of Jørn Utzon and Henning Larsen’s opera houses in Copenhagen (pictured). Explore this wonderful modern heritage and the influences on its creation at the Design Museum in Copenhagen and the Kode Museum in Bergen.

THE ART OF THE NORTH Enjoy spectacular collections of art, from some of the most beautiful works from the Viking period in the Swedish History Museum to Moderna Museum in Stockholm, and the most important collections of the works of Edvard Munch in Oslo (pictured) and Bergen. Explore the unique style of this region not only through its painters but also through its distinctive Nordic architecture and famous Scandinavian design.
