PRESS RELEASE – April 22, 2019 Susan Carrier (951) 551-5363 [email protected] TRIBUTE TO BON JOVI HEADS TO HHT The Historic Hemet Theatre continues to expand its repertoire of classic rock music with a tribute to BON JOVI on Saturday May 11th. The concert will feature the L.A.-based band WANTED in their first Hemet appearance. BON JOVI is an American rock band formed in 1983 in Sayreville, New Jersey. The group has released a total of 22 albums, selling more than 100 million records worldwide, making them one of the bestselling American rock groups in history. Bon Jovi has performed over 2700 concerts in over 50 countries, finally earning a place in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2018. Top Bon Jovi hits include "Livin' on A Prayer," "Wanted Dead or Alive," "Runaway," "Bad Medicine," and "You Give Love a Bad Name." WANTED is an incredible replication of the music of Bon Jovi, creating a fun concert environment in the style, vibe and atmosphere of a live Bon Jovi show. These professional musicians are passionate about the music of Bon Jovi and it shows with every note. If you can't make it to Europe this summer to see Bon Jovi live, this show is the next best thing. This show is the first event in Season Two of the Tribute Mania Concert Series. Reo Speedwagon Reschedules Concert at Four Winds New Buffalo
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE REO SPEEDWAGON RESCHEDULES CONCERT AT FOUR WINDS NEW BUFFALO Concert moved to Friday, November 9 NEW BUFFALO, Mich. – January 24, 2018 – The Pokagon Band of Potawatomi Indians’ Four Winds® Casinos announce the performance date for REO Speedwagon at Four Winds New Buffalo’s® Silver Creek® Event Center has changed to Friday, November 9, 2018 at 9 p.m. All tickets purchased for the concert originally scheduled for February 9 will be honored at the November 9 performance. Hotel and dinner packages are still available on the night of the concert. Tickets are on sale now exclusively through Ticketmaster®, www.ticketmaster.com, or by calling (800) 745-3000. Ticket prices for the show start at $75 plus applicable fees. Four Winds New Buffalo will be offering hotel and dinner packages along with tickets to REO Speedwagon. Jon Bon Jovi Jon Bon Jovi is an American musician, singer, songwriter, and actor, best known as the lead singer and founder of Bon Jovi. Throughout his career, he has released two solo albums and eleven studio albums with his band which have sold over 200 million albums worldwide. Jon Bon Jovi was born John Francis Bongiovi, Jr. in Perth Amboy, New Jersey the son of two former Marines, barber John Francis Bongiovi, Sr. and florist Carol Sharkey. He has two brothers, Anthony and Matthew. His father was of Sicilian and Slovak ancestry and his mother was of German and Russian descent. He has stated that he is a blood relative of Frank Sinatra. He spent summers in Erie, Pennsylvania, with his grandparents as a newspaper salesman. As a child, Bon Jovi attended St. Joseph High School, in Metuchen, New Jersey, during his freshman and sophomore years. Introduction Plaintiffs Samuel Bartley Steele, Bart Steele Publishing, and Steele Recordz (hereinafter, "Plaintiffs") submit this memorandum in opposition to the Motion for Summary Judgment filed by Defendants on June 10,2009 and the Motion filed by Defendant Kobalt on June 26, 2009. 1 590 Case 1:08-cv-11727 Document 101 Filed 07/17/2009 Page 2 of 22 In its April 3, 2009 Order, the Court directed the parties to address the issue of substantial similarity between Plaintiff s' workl and Defendants' works. The court's order correctly summarizes the claim in saying "According to Steele, much of the visual portion of the TBS Promo is derived from his song and the Bon Jovi Song was then based upon that Promo, the Steele Song, 0 r both." The Steele Song is the registered version which will be referred to as "Team". Defendants have left enough of Plaintiffs 'work in their final product that the Court will see substantial similarity between the works. Plaintiffs will show that ordinary observers, professional musicians, and video/film experts observe substantial similarity between the works. Because there are genuine issues of triable fact / disputed material facts on the issue of similarity, Defendants' motions must be denied. Plaintiffs will refer to AffidavitiArticle Exhibits as 'Exhibits A, B, C, D, E & F', as well as the respective subsections within, in order to help prove sub&ta!ltial similarity between the works.
