Agricultural activities have been maintained thanks to the efforts of its main actors: the farmers, who with effort maintain a practice that sustains the table of all Ecuadorians. This has led to limited productivity resulting in lost investments, low crop yields and low participation rates. In particular, this year, 2020, in addition to all the difficulties that agricultural producers have to face periodically, the COVID-19 pandemic has been added.
