McDonald finished with ten tackles as he leads the Panthers 2015 STATS FCS MEDIA with 27 tackles this season. McDonald leads the OVC and ranks 8th in the NCAA. (WEEK 2) Rk. Team 2015 Record • Senior Dino Fanti added another tackle for loss to his career numbers at Northwestern. 1. Jacksonville State (39) 1-1 Fanti has 3.5 tackles for loss this season and has moved into sixth on the EIU career tackles 2. Coastal Carolina (36) 2-0 for loss list with 36.5. Harvard 0-0 • Former basketball player Dylan Chatman earned his first career start for the football Receiving Votes (OVC & 2015 EIU opponents): team last Saturday at Northwestern. This season Chatman has made six tackles (five solo) Western Illinois, Southeast Missouri, with the team’s lone interception. A two-year starter for the Panthers basketball team after Tennesssee State transferring from Southwestern Illinois College, Chatman averaged 6.2 points per game for the EIU team that advanced to the second round of the CIT. 2015 FCS COACHES • Eastern Illinois will play Illinois State for the Panthers home opener. This will mark the (WEEK 2) seventh time EIU has played its home opener against Illinois State since 1980. EIU is 5-1 Rk.
