Downtime-40.Pdf Stargate LRP Event 41 Heavens Fall It began as a simple training mission. A simple weekend of tests of skill and endurance, reconnecting with their comrades following the hectic months of readjustment to life on Earth. It would not remain so. An emissary came from beyond the boundaries of the galaxy, carrying a message from a great Empire to the heroes of the SEF. An Empire spanning across the sea of stars, home of ancient culture and exotic technology, but shadowed by the threat of decay, anarchy and civil war - and perhaps a far greater threat. The SEF have proven that they can storm the very gates of heaven and remake the face of the Galaxy to preserve the Earth against unfathomable odds. It should come as no surprise that their fame has spread far to the very edges of the universe. Can they meet perhaps their greatest challenge yet?     1 THE COLLECTED POEMS OF HENRIK IBSEN Translated by John Northam 2 PREFACE With the exception of a relatively small number of pieces, Ibsen’s copious output as a poet has been little regarded, even in Norway. The English-reading public has been denied access to the whole corpus. That is regrettable, because in it can be traced interesting developments, in style, material and ideas related to the later prose works, and there are several poems, witty, moving, thought provoking, that are attractive in their own right. The earliest poems, written in Grimstad, where Ibsen worked as an assistant to the local apothecary, are what one would expect of a novice. Resignation, Doubt and Hope, Moonlight Voyage on the Sea are, as their titles suggest, exercises in the conventional, introverted melancholy of the unrecognised young poet. Moonlight Mood, To the Star express a yearning for the typically ethereal, unattainable beloved. In The Giant Oak and To Hungary Ibsen exhorts Norway and Hungary to resist the actual and immediate threat of Prussian aggression, but does so in the entirely conventional imagery of the heroic Viking past. From early on, however, signs begin to appear of a more personal and immediate engagement with real life. There is, for instance, a telling juxtaposition of two poems, each of them inspired by a female visitation. It is Over is undeviatingly an exercise in romantic glamour: the poet, wandering by moonlight mid the ruins of a great palace, is visited by the wraith of the noble lady once its occupant; whereupon the ruins are restored to their old splendour.

It was the hat of Long Island melodic metal band Champ’s manager and booking agent. With the van fully packed with instruments, equipment, and people, the band was driving to play a show at The Vault in Syracuse before turning around for a show at The Blue Room Lounge in Secaucus, New Jersey the next day. Rienecker and the members of Champ have been friends since high school and in 2015, Champ finally popped the question and asked Rienecker to come on board as their manager. “I played a lot of shows with them back in high school. We gigged around nearly everywhere on the island and we went on a few tours together,” Rienecker reminisced, “They are a bunch of stand up guys that I truly enjoy working with.     Martha Johnson Letters Transcriptions from Johnson Family of Peacham, Vt., Papers, 1854-1904 MSA 185 Introduction This is a collection of correspondence and related documents from the Leonard Johnson family of Peacham, Vermont, written between 1854 and 1904. The bulk of the collection is comprised of letters written by the daughter, Martha Johnson (1822-1871), who served as a teacher for the National Freedman‟s Relief Association in the Beaufort/Port Royal area of South Carolina from 1863 to 1871. The collection was donated to the Vermont Historical Society by Leonard Johnson‟s great great granddaughter, Betty Wilkinson of Barre, Vermont, in 1997 (ms. acc. no 97.10). The collection is stored in one box and occupies .25 linear foot of shelf space. Beaufort, S.C. Mar. 11th, 1863. Biographical Sketch Martha Johnson was born in Peacham, Vermont, on September 17, 1822. She died in Beaufort, South Carolina, December 24, 1871. She was the oldest of nine children. She never married. Martha received her education at the Peacham common school and the Franklin Academy in New Hampshire. She was received in the Congregational church in 1842. In 1855, Martha took a job as matron of the female department in the workhouse located on Blackwell‟s Island, New York. She returned home that same year due to her mother‟s illness and subsequent death. From 1859 to 1861, Martha taught at an industrial school somewhere in New York. In 1863 she received a teaching commission from the National Freedman‟s Relief Association to teach newly freed slaves in the Union occupied area of the South Carolina lowcountry.
