Genoa have only won one of their last 37 Serie A TIM away games against Torino (D12 L24): 3-2 in May 2009, with a Diego Milito brace, under Gian Piero Gasperini. Torino reach this game after four draws in a row: the last time they drew five in a row in the competition was in February 2009, under Walter Novellino. Torino's last home win in Serie A TIM dates back to July 2020, under Moreno Longo: 3-0 win against Genoa, coached by Davide Nicola. Since then, they’ve had seven draws and five defeats at home. Genoa have won their last three Serie A TIM games and could reach four consecutive wins in the competition for the first time since September 2009 (five under Gian Piero Gasperini).
