The Annual Techno-Cultural Fest of “SKIT Jaipur”
PRAVAH the annual inter- college, techno-cultural and sports fest signify the rich tradition of our institute in promoting and fostering innovative and creative sparks that the SKIT family has nurtured for over a decade. It showcases the amalgamation of sports, cultural and technical events with participation of over a large number of colleges from the state of rajasthan and mammoth crowd of huge amount of students, it is one of the Jaipur's largest college cultural festival and has developed over the years into so much more: a Launchpad for upcoming artists, a spectacular showcase of talent, an epitome of incredible human experience, where friendships are born and memories are made amidst the gleam of several bonfires as the nights intensify. PRAVAH immerses us into the thoughts of alluring colorful lights, unstoppable music, DJs and VJs, and even savoring foods, it bends us towards competitions, huge crowds, and cultural diversities which indeed gift a massive package of memories. The overall mission is to bring along all and invigorate with extreme amounts of pure happiness. It also serves as an escape from all the bitterness of our lives. PRAVAH 2020 included 8 cultural events, 12 literary events, 24 Non-technical events, 8 Social events and 32 Technical events, so in total there were 84 events that took place during PRAVAH 2020.

The annual function of PRAVAH 2020 was celebrated on 29 Feb 2020.

The annual fest PRAVAH 2020 ended with a dinner for both faculty member and the students. Main events of PRAVAH 2020

1. Kavyanjali:- Hindi Poetry Competition “Kavyanjali” was a poetry competition in the annual fest PRAVAH organized by SKIT JAIPUR. Date: 28 Feb 2020 after 12:30 pm in Gyan Mandir auditorium of the campus. Guest of honor: “Gajendra Priyanshu” He is a great poet and he had performed earlier in Red fort at New Delhi. Faculty Coordinator: Pallav Rawal (ECE) Seven participants were there and they presented their own beautiful piece of poetry. 5-10 minute was given for each participant. A great response was received from the audience, words of “Gajendra Priyanshu” Ji inspired everyone, and he praised the men's soul, his charm and talked about equality too. There was a huge buzz about his amazing creation and people appreciated his work. Each performance was fabulous and the poetry revolved around women's equality, love, inspiration, beauty of nature, the “Phulwama” attack and soldier's etc. The event ended by thanking all the team members for their valuable contribution in technical as well as non-technical work. 3. Inter College Dance Competition (Thirak):-
Thirak is an inter college dance competition containing three categories: solo, duet and group. The sole purpose of this competition is to identify and encourage dancing talent of the participants. Exciting prizes worth more than 50,000/-Rs. to be won in the competition. There’s a saying that “Dancers don’t need wings to fly!”

“Ms. Poonam Kanwar” (Masters in "Indian classical music" with "A" grade from Rajasthan University with 10+ years of work experience in the field of music) She is approved music artist at All India radio. She was a gold medallist in Indian classical music from Rajasthan sangeet sansthan. She was awarded as a best solo singer and felicitated by gold medal in music at national level Music event organised by National cadet core in Chennai. “Loria Dhosi” (Limca book of world record holder for clearing 10th in the age of 8 and half years old and a Gold medallist in Masters of Psychology from University of Rajasthan) she was among the Top 7 contestants in Zee TV Saregamapa Li'l Champs and also the Runner up of 9X Chak de bachche

Ashmit Patel (born 13 January 1978) is an Indian actor who appears in Bollywood films and was seen on Big Boss. Patel started his career as an assistant director and worked with Vikram Bhatt in the making of his films, Aap Mujhe Achche Lagne Lage (2002), Awara Paagal Deewana (2002), Raaz (2002) and Footpath (2003). He made his acting debut with the film Inteha directed by Vikram Bhatt. In 2004, he appeared alongside Mallika Sherawat and Emraan Hashmi in the thriller Murder, a Bollywood inspiration of Unfaithful. The film was his first commercial success. In 2005, Patel starred in Soni Razdan's thriller Nazar and Khalid Mohammed's multi-starrer Silsilay. Both the films were unsuccessful at the box office. VLAB Hackathon is an intercollege Hackathon organized during Pravah 2020 on in SKIT Jaipur. It was 12 hours Hackathon which focuses on the current latest technologies. The technologies used in the Hackathon were Machine Learning, IOT, Deep learning etc. Participants need to work in a team. Every team included max. 4 and min. 2 members. Hardware kits were provided to the participating teams which include Arduinos, Ultrasonic sensors, Motor-drivers and many more. SKIT Jaipur. Hackathon was organized in association with TechieNest Pvt. Ltd. and Techkriti IIT Kanpur and supported by CADD Centre BAPU NAGAR. Top four teams were selected for finale of aIRC’20 (All India Research Championship 2020) at IIT Kanpur on 21st March with prize money worth 2.2 lakh. All the winners and participants were given prizes & certificates from representatives of TechieNest , Techkriti, IIT Kanpur.

12. Bhagirath- A Social event

A colourful and memorable social event BHAGIRATH was organised in SKIT, Jaipur. In this event we invited two schools of under privileged children which are :
Sajal Prakhar Madhyamik Vidhyalaya (Free Education) Kacchi basti, Jagatpura Sakhi BAL Niketan (Free Education), Kacchi Basti, Jaipur.
In morning we had welcome ceremony in which we welcomed around 320 children of above schools. Children performed yoga and some dances. Then they enjoyed snacks, games on various food counters and play zones. Children enjoyed a lot there. We ended welcome ceremony by cutting cake. Some students of Sajal Prakhar Madhyamik Vidhyalaya performed fancy dress show. We arranged a magic show and everyone enjoyed a lot by seeing some interesting and unique magic tricks by magician. After that all children had lunch in college canteen. We ended this event by delivering them some gifts, and stationary. The event brought big smiles on the faces of the children and their teachers.

15. IPL Auction event( Cricket Attack):-

Details (Execution):-
Cricket Attack was basically a non-technical fun event based on IPL AUCTION 2020.Conducted on 27 feb 2020 under the great annual fest PRAVAH conducted by TOPAZ (E-CELL) at CS/IT Block Seminar Hall. The event was full of fun, thrill, and the suspense. Consists of two round Quiz Round and the Auction Round .
QUIZ ROUND
Quiz had 20 questions in total related to IPL and the quiz was held online on KAHOOT! After the quiz top 2 teams among the total of 5 teams were awarded an extra purse value(Hypothetical Money) amount to bid in the auction round . Quiz round was so exciting and competitive. After that anchor and auctioneer MR. Yash Raj Mishra explained the rules and regulations to the teams .

AUCTION ROUND
Now coming to the auction round we had 5 teams and all of them were looking too excited to bid on their favourite player and also to manage the amount and complete their Squad of 11 players this round were going to test their management skill as well as cricket Knowledge .Bidding started and auctioneer started taking players name one by one with players displaying on the screen with their stats and base price and firstly batsmen came in the auction pool around 60 batsmen were displayed and the one who got the highest bid is none other than everyone favourite Cricket King - VIRAT KOHLI , he got a bid of 22 crores INR that creates a exciting and thrilling environment there . In the bowling Category LASTISH MALINGA got the Highest Bid of 19 crores INR.After these two categories a break was taken and then the thrill started again the teams lost most of their purse amount in buying bowlers and batsmen and they left with too little amount for all rounders. Bidding stated and Australian All rounder SHANE WATSON got the highest bid of 9.5 Crores INR. This is the end of the final round and after that teams were compared on their player’s stats and then a team from 1st yr IT Department won the first prize.
The event was basically an IPL Auction in which all IPL Players were represented to the participants and they have been given hypothetical money from which they have to BID on the players whom they wish to add in their squad.
