Brett Gabbert and Jack Sorenson hooked up for four touch- downs and the Miami University defense was dominant from the opening snap as the RedHawks downed the Akron Zips 38-7. The win is Miami’s 700th in school history.

Gabbert finished the game 18-of-27 for 308 yards and four touchdowns, while Sorenson had eight receptions for a career- high 177 yards and four scores. Gabbert added a career-high 49 yards rushing as well.
