Arrival Details The group welcome meeting with you guide and other travellers is held around 13:00 on the board on Day 1 of your tour, unless otherwise notified. For the Dubrovnik to Split tour, the boat will remain in Dubrovnik port on the first night. Meeting Point The meeting point is your boat, “M/S Lav or M/S IKA” at Split Harbour. The meeting time is 13:00 p.m. sharp. The boat must leave the port at 13:00 p.m. Look out for the Travel Talk flag on your boat at the port. Mljet: A true beauty of nature, the island of Mljet is covered in green with some small villages and * lakes, you will love walking around the island. Omis: Omis is a small port located at the mouth of the Cetina River and surrounded by huge gorges, is * an ideal place for ziplining. Hvar: Most popular of the Adriatic, it was named a top destination to travel in 2012. Crowding streets * and the crazy nightlife. Korcula: The birthplace of Marco Polo, make your way to the old city tower to grab a cocktail and * enjoy the stunning view. Itinerary Please note that the itinerary may be subject to small changes depending on the conditions during the tour. Day 1: Split, Omis All aboard, it’s time to start your sailing adventure! Meet your tour leader and group at 1:00pm at Split harbour. We will enjoy our first lunch on board together, before we set sail in the tranquil waters of the Adriatic Sea. There are plenty of stops for swimming on the way to Omis, a small port located at the mouth of the Cetina River and surrounded by huge gorges. Historically, Omis was home to the fearful pirates whose fast boats were used to attack trade ships. Next stop: Makarska which is a popular resort town on the mainland that has the Biokovo mountain range as a stunning backdrop. After a brief orientation walk you have the afternoon free to lie on the beach, take part in water sports like parasailing and jet skiing, go on an optional zipline adventure or just enjoy the many cafes, bars and restaurants that line the 1.5km beach. Hvar is home to spectacular beaches, pumping nightlife and draws numerous celebrities. After an orientation walk you can sample some fresh cuisine at the local restaurants and then get ready to dance the night away as we hit the local bars and clubs! • Accommodation Traditional Motor Sailing Boat • Meals Included Breakfast, Lunch • Included Activities Cruise in Dalmatian Coast Swim Breaks Orientation Walk Day 4: Hvar, Korcula Ahoy shipmates, this morning we are sailing to Lumbarda beach to go swimming, sunbathing or join in various water-sports and activities. We will then continue to Korcula town, the birthplace of Marco Polo. Korcula is graced with indented coves, rolling hills and a walled old town that resembles a mini Dubrovnik. After an orientation walk you can wander the streets checking out the local markets, visit the house where Marco Polo lived, or grab a cocktail in a bar located at the top of the old city tower for some phenomenal • Accommodation Traditional Motor Sailing Boat • Meals Included Breakfast, Lunch • Included Activities Cruise in Dalmatian Coast Swim Breaks Orientation Walk Day 5: Korcula, Mljet Time to say goodbye to Hvar and cruise down the coast to the forest-covered island of Mljet to see its stunning national park and big salt-water lakes. The salt-water lakes were formed about 10 000 years ago and were originally freshwater lakes until the Benedictine Monks dug out a channel to sea. You can still find their medieval monastery on the island of St. Mary in the middle of Veliko Jezero (Big Lake). Spend the afternoon visiting the lakes, go swimming, kayaking, or cycling around the island. Of course, no sailing trip will be complete without dressing like a pirate so tonight we will have our on-board ‘Pirate Party’ with a delicious BBQ and traditional Croatian cuisine. Don’t worry you’ve got ample time to relax and go for a swim before we sail to Omis, which has rich and turbulent history of pirates. It is a modern Pirate ship built in 2003 and renovated in 2010. The 25m long beautiful ship awaits its passengers with its 10 cabins with private facilities. Don’t let its authentic image confuse you because Lav also has 2 decks, bar, lounge and dining room. Sun decks with sunbeds, TV & audiovisual equipment in main lounge and water sports equipment are also available.
