Asnuntuck Community College Transfer Student Outcomes Data Source: NSC

In March 2020, student names of 6 cohorts between Fall 2013 and Fall 2019 semesters were sent to National Student Clearinghouse (NSC). A study was conducted to analyze transfer patterns for cohorts 2013 to 2017 within 3 years, and for cohort 2013 to 2015 for transfer patterns within 5 years of attending ACC.

• 39% of ACC students transferred to a 2-year or a 4-year institution within 3 years, with 25% landing at 4-year institutions.

• For those data available up to 5 years, 45% of ACC students transferred to a 2-year or a 4-year institution within 5 years, with 33% landing at 4-year institutions.

• 85% of ACC students that transferred to 2-year institutions landed at one of the following seven community colleges: Manchester Community College, Capital Community College, Springfield Technical Community College (MA), , Middlesex Community College, Holyoke Community College (MA), and Naugatuck Valley Community College

• 56% of ACC students that transferred to 4-year institutions landed at one of the following seven colleges and universities: UConn, CCSU, Westfield State University (MA), Bay Path University (MA), ECSU, , and Elms College (MA).

Next step is to look into transfer patterns by ACC academic programs for those students with a transfer record.
