Report of the Head of Democratic Services

1. Purpose of the Report and Summary

1.1 To give the Committee sight of the Civic List which is used by the Lord Mayor’s Secretary as a guideline for Civic invitations.

2. Recommendations

2.1 That the committee approves the list and makes any recommendations as necessary

3. Introduction

3.1 The Civic List has been utilised for many years as a key database for issuing invitations to yearly Civic Events

4. Main Body of Report

4.1 The Civic List (See Appendix A) is a live document which is updated at regular intervals to ensure the names and addresses remain current and anyone wishing to be deleted from the list can request their details be removed.

5. Consultation

5.1 Consultation is carried out regularly with Civic Heads

6. Options

6.1 To approve Civic List

6.2 To amend and approve Civic List

7. Recommendations

7.1 That the committee approves the list and makes any recommendations as necessary
