In his fi rst year in Weatherford, Evans threw for 2,681 yards and 25 touchdowns – the second-best single-season total at SWOSU – while starting nine games and throwing for 268 yards per game. In his absence, Brooks Robertson (Roland, Okla.) made three starts, throwing for 214 yards and leading SWOSU to a victory at Oklahoma Baptist. Four other quarterbacks will be in camp with the Bulldogs, including redshirt freshmen Casey Freeman (Newcastle, Okla.) and Tyler Marr (Beggs, Okla.) along with true freshman Caleb Collins (Fort Worth, Texas) and Colin Watford (Prague, Okla.). RUNNING BACKS Perhaps the deepest position on the roster for SWOSU is in the backfi eld, where the Bulldogs return their top three rushers from a team that set a new single-season school record with 24 rushing touchdowns. Atop the depth chart are All-Great American Conference selections Karltrell Henderson (Moore, Okla.) and Kenneth Martey (San Diego, Calif.), who provided a dynamic one-two punch in the backfi eld last season. Henderson set a new single-season scoring record by reaching the end zone 12 times last season while Martey ripped off the longest run in school history with a 93-yard touchdown scamper at Northwestern Oklahoma State. Beyond that, SWOSU returns three other players with backfi eld experience in Kwame Tate (Elgin, Okla.) along with Matt Farris (Ringling, Okla.) and Talo Pascal (Arlington, Texas), who are both back after missing parts of last season due to injury. WIDE RECEIVERS Depth is also a luxury for the Bulldogs at wide receiver, where fi ve of the top six pass catchers from 2015 return for SWOSU this fall. Leading the way is All-American D.J. Jones (Oakland, Calif.), who set a new single-season Great American Conference record with nearly 1,800 all-purpose yards to his credit. Other top pass-catching threats who return include senior Hunter Dinkines (Edmond, Okla.), junior Derrick Styles (Arlington, Texas) and sophomore JR Omigie (Arlington, Texas). Others who could contribute on the outside this fall include redshirt freshman Marcellous Dowell (Cache, Okla.) and junior transfers Dillon Bauer (Willis, Texas) and Zach Hill (Blanchard, Okla.). TIGHT ENDS Collin Bricker (Piedmont, Okla.) is back for his third year as the Bulldogs starting tight end, but he’s not alone and will again be pushed for playing time at the position. Bricker caught 21 passes for 199 yards and one touchdown last season, while fellow seniors Dylan Power (North Las Vegas, Nev.) and Marcus Mosi (San Lorenzo, Calif.) also saw time at the position. Providing depth at the position is the promising trio of redshirt
