Shueisha publishes some 39 periodical magazines, a vast number of books targeting various topics, dictionaries as well as children's books and comics. The company operates various e-commerce sites where people can order books and magazines, engage with literature, buy manga-related articles and order online women fashion items featured in leading Japanese fashion magazines. The contract expansion is the fifth order from Shueisha to Cxense since the initial agreement was signed in 2014. Shueisha uses Cxense software to for improve user engagement and digital revenue across its various web sites.
