Cork County Council Preparation of New Municipal District Local Area Plans Have Your Say

Cork County Council has commenced the process of preparing new Municipal District Local Area Plans which will set out the planning strategy and land use zoning for the towns (including the former Town Council Areas) and villages of the county.

Preliminary Consultation Documents have been published for each Municipal District, setting out the key issues to be considered.

The Preliminary Consultation Documents may be viewed at www.corkcoco.ie. Consultation Documents are also available to inspect at the Planning Oﬃce, Floor 1, County Hall; Norton House, Skibbereen, Council Oﬃces at Annabella, Mallow and at Libraries.

Submissions are hereby invited from members of the public, children, or groups or associations representing the interests of children, and other interested parties on the issues that should be addressed in the making of the new Plans.

Submissions can be made on line at www.corkcoco.ie or by post to the: Senior Planner, Planning Policy Unit, Cork County Council, Floor 13, County Hall, Cork. T12 R2NC. The closing date for submissions is 4 p.m. on the 25 th January 2016.
